Okay, you just read through that whole other, complicated thread and you want to cry in a corner? Fear no longer! You may still enter the Derby without any predicting.

You simply post in this thread saying you'd like to enter. (Please do NOT enter both contests. Just pick one or the other.)

Just before the races are started, you will be assigned a pony from the race at random. If the pony you are assigned comes in first place for the Derby, you win the prize! There can be up to 64 entrants in this easier-style contest.

The prize available for the simple contest is an Arena mug, featuring this image:
