Mug Swap 2014 Brags Away! <3

Wonderful swap box from Tikibirds! Which is awesome and hilarious as we had a private swap that ended just before we got our partners for this one. 

I'm just going to say I wish for you a real extra big for all the awesomeness you packed in here.

My husband actually got this one from the mail lady as I was otherwise occupied at activities outside the house.    I didn't even know that it had arrived until I was giving lunch to the youngest and turned to sit for a moment before getting the dishes done. After I had them almost all the way done she picked up the package and said, "Look Mommy! Open it! It's a big heavy mail package and I don't know what's in it."

Might have to try me that Top Secret tea tonight near bedtime...    Most of the candy was wrapped in Japanese newsprint. Way cool.    And the Ginger Candy, it's all right. Doesn't taste like ginger though.

The first mug was commissioned and awesome! It's so evident that a fan made this because it's perfect. Sorry for the blurry close-in shot.

A little treasure book-box and it's guard dragon that looks suspiciously like it could be an enraged version of my OC/Avatar. I have no idea where you found it but .

Finally, but definitely not least, the infamous color changing mug. it starts off as a nearly black matte mug. So I warmed it up a little:

That one tastes weird but the one I thought was nasty is the matcha green tea cappichino candy. Its the one in the all green wrapper without any images on it.  Blah.

Wow! What a great box. I love the little fox mug and bowl, those are too cute! And those wax melts are awesome. I have a couple burners in my house. Congrats Tiki and great job Kitkumi!

Tiki, I'm so glad that you like it! And that everything got there in one piece. I was so worried about the foxes making it with out any problem. I was struggling with what your second mug would be when I ran smack dab in to those guys and I knew I needed to send them your way

And nope, I didn't send any mochi (though it is funny you mentioned it archidraca because I actually did go looking for some mochi at a specialty store near where I live and they were out lol)

The big circle thing? It's an ornament with a story about a special tree.

And my mother though the bowl was a dog dish.

Lol, yeah, the 'whispering oak' is a really big deal in my town (I live in a very small town and we have people who travel from all over just to look at a tree O.o Which is pretty cool I suppose lol)

If it was it would be the most adorable dog dish ever lol.

My town is pretty small too - about 2000 people or so. The nearest thing we have is in the town south of here called the Lake George Mystery Spot. If you stand at the center of the circle where the lines meet, you can hear an echoing sound that others cannot hear.  Local Indian legend says that it was the spot that an ancient god called Katchalototail had appeared at a long time ago and since then his wisdom still echoes around the lake. Indian gods, spatial displacement, weird acoustics...whatever causes this strange ringing reverberating sound, it is pretty amazing.
