If she's reading this thread then she KNOWS it's not a rehair and is just being purposefully difficult.  Buyer, you're being ridiculous.  It's not a rehair.

I think it's really wrong for them to be insisting that it's a rehair even after all of the input from fellow collectors, not to mention the fact that I'm sure that pony will have lost a little value because the neck seam is now broken.

Sorry you're having to go through this.

Hey Zora, I had my eye on these girls when you had them on ebay... what a bummer.

Ebay is really good at sticking up for buyers almost regardless of the circumstances. When or if you get your pony back, her neck is unsealed and has been manhandled. I can understand your frustration.

:( buh

I thought if they have altered the item they can't return it? Since its not returning in the same condition it was sent it?

If this continues to go badly, please contact the mods so that they can ensure that a similar scenario doesn't happen to anyone else with this buyer!  :(
If the buyer has seen the threads created regarding this pony's validity, and has chosen to blatantly ignore the collecting community's consensus, then to continue insisting for the refund is a scam, ESPECIALLY as she de-valued the pony through her actions.

I would also really like to have the buyer's name including her arena name.

The pony is not a rehair, and I certainly don't want to deal with someone so willfully ignorant.  I would be overjoyed to receive such a nice nirvana.  If I explicitly didn't collect CP ponies, and weren't hurting for money, I would buy her just to spite your very silly and childish buyer.

There are how many people who are experienced nirvana buyers and collectors who are ALL saying there is NO WAY this pony can be a rehair but your buyer who has clearly never dabbled much with Nirvanas but for one other pony, I guess, totally knows more than the collective bunch of collectors.  That is really, really arrogant buyer, btw.

But yes, it is very frustrating for her to be sending the pony back after damaging it ( hopefully it shouldn't impact her value much.  Most of us are not terribly anal about a nirvana with her neck seal removed.  I just hope the buyer didn't exacto knife her to get her head off.

Quite frankly, your buyer needs a big, fat piece of humble pie and needs to write you a major apology for putting you through such an ordeal.

GODS HOW DARE YOU SELL SUCH NICE PONIES!

There are some people out there that are impossible to make happy.  This buyer should find a collecting hobby that involves new and still in the box items versus buying vintage.  :Sigh:

Well it seems that no matter what she is not going to change her mind, despite the consensus from reputable nirvana collectors. It sounds to me that it maybe more of a buyers remorse case. Which fine, we have all felt it before but she de-valued the pony in the process of trying to prove her point.  :(

As MiRaja suggested perhaps you could start your own thread in Nirvana concerning the matter. I am sure you will capture a wider range of Nirvana experts, as not everyone visits TS. I think once you have gathered a solid case, you can email her the link. I mean honestly there is no better place than over there to ask. They know their ponies!

Also if you could please email her name, that would be great.

i think that this all will have no effect. she simply wants to return this pony and thats ok with me. i dont want anyone to think i am a scammer or liar or to be unhappy with one of the ponies from my personal collection, so i will refund all her money.

i am really honored because she thinks that i can do facotry-like rehairing work. :|

I don't agree with what has happened at all and I don't think this pony is a rehair and i am just going slightly of topic but i just have to put it out there in nirvana world beheading a pony (with no harm to the plug) doesn't devalue a pony. Many collectors will pop heads of very expensive ponies to make sure there is nothing yuck lurking in there or to check to see if its not a rehair (sadly to many collectors have been sold undisclosed rehaired ponies) so I don't think the price of the pony is lowered i don't think its an issue.
I do feel for you thou zora, the buyer is very wrong in this case

Your Nirvana Bow Tie is gorgeous- I agree it doesn't look like a re-hair AT ALL.  The fact that her "proof" includes the number of hair plugs...?  Means that she is a little crazy or has buyer's remorse.

I look forward to when you get her back and put her back up for sale, she is GORGEOUS
