Princess Pinkie

So about a year ago a dear friend gave me the first 3 seasons of Friendship is Magic to watch and I just fell in love with the show. I adore Pinkie and became enamoured with the idea of Princess Pinkie.

Princess bait, wings were removed and reposed. She was airbrushed, then I painted on her details using pearl ex pigments (eyes, symbols, gauntlets). Her wings were an experiment for me, and were done with chalk pastels and a slight dusting of pearl ex (as was the background for her symbol). Pics didn't pick up how shimmering she is, but its quite subtle and gorgeous. Sealed with MSC and a combination of glosses. Rehaired with Heart throb, Pussycat, Bubblegum and then 7 shades of custom dyed pinks using Pussycat, Starlight and Heart throb. I adore the subtlety of the blend I wanted to give her a fancy Pinkie do, so I loosely pinned it then curled it. Tail ribbon is also given a slight curl.

Gorgeous! I love the subtle shimmer and her curls! And the curled tail ribbon! The shading on the wings is absolutely beautiful, it gives them so much depth and makes them look much more lifelike. Lovely!
