I love the Giant Sundance pony. I never tire of seeing pictures of her- especially the before and after.  It's so good that she had a happy ending.

He then looked in there backyard and said "hey there is that horse thing" I stopped digging through the box and looked up and immediately froze and did not move. I got giant goose bumps on my skin, the hairs on the back of my neck stood up and my mouth was hanging wide open. I then smacked him on the arm and yelled "That is not a "horse thing" that is a giant sundance". He was all like "well how was i to know". I nearly killed him i really did LOL again i told him "how can you not know that is a sundance when the pony is standing on our bureau at home?"

It would be so awesome to see a life-size pony standing there, and so funny, too. You were looking for ponies, but not one that . . . big . . .

I would be very tempted to get on her back and pretend I was riding her. I guess your cat already had that idea!

I read through this entire thread. I am absolutely hooked. Like everyone else, I must know more! Can the two people who have the licencing advert please scan a copy? I think Drusilla mentioned that is where the baby is mentioned. Is there an actual picture of Sundance or the baby on it? There was probably only a few of these made for show purposes. The pics from Dogpatch look like they were taken at a summer camp! Perhaps a private production or a traveling show? I would think we would have heard of something like that by now though.

Oh and Drusilla you did a wonderful job cleaning her up! I am so happy another collector could have her to care for!

P.S. and someone mentioned giant SHS statues???

Thanks, Drusilla, for posting that! Very interesting. Yeah, it looks to me very much like they were meant for store displays. And if that Baby Sundance is ever found, I can't help thinking about the terrible eye rust she might have at this point!

And after seeing that girl as Megan I now have half an idea to cosplay as Megan. I've always loved that dress in its small doll-form. But I wouldn't do the braids.

That's amazing! I'm so glad you fixed her up instead of letting her rot outside. She looks great. Maybe someone who's great at plushes would be able to make the baby for her.

Okay, if normal sized BBE ponies have just creepy eyes, that giant one has downright evil eyes, lol!  Does she look like she has angry eyebrows to anyone else?  Either way, these are amazing pieces of history for MLP

if the baby is ever found i would be surprised if she has eyes at all. which is a little sad and scary   

i would just love to find the baby it would a dream to put them together
