Well it seems there are at least slight differences (tho none that detract for their awesomeness). The mothers seem to have sparkly fur this time and the pups are slightly different.

I don't have a Target.

Here's hoping they come to Walmart or TRU as well so I can finally have one!

There is a spot labeled "Puppy Surprise" on the planogram at Walmart so they will have them too.

I vaguely remember playing with one of these as a kid. Cool to see that they have re-released them.

I love them and got 5 of the vintage ones and some special babys (in pyjamas, swimming, squirting) and was excited when I saw these but I really dislike the new pups- the material, the face...naaah...
But I still hope they will release more pets and over here and will buy them

I saw a couple of these today. A pink/white one and a purple/white one. Is there a way to tell if one has more puppies than another one? Are the ones with more puppies fatter? I'd love to get one with 5 puppies.

I got mine today!!

Gonna open her up and see how many pups she has. I literally freaked out when I realized this was real, Ive seriously had DREAMS like this!

I really hope they do well and they continue the line as well. I want kitties and bunnies and ponies!! I noticed that they brought back pound puppies as well in their original state, they were next to them.

Well, mine looked fatter to me so I picked her and she did have 5 pups.

I just saw them at Target. So cute! And I also saw the new vintage looking pound puppies made by funrise. Those were super cute too.

Yay! I love Puppy Surprise! I still have mine from when I was little. Actually I still have my Puppy Surprise, Kitty Surprise, Pony Surprise, Bunny Surprise, and Cub Surprise.

I love that these look so much like the originals, I will definitely be getting one!
