crewel kits

I am wondering does anyone here do crewel kits or long stitch kits? I love them but they are so hard to find.

No but a lot of them look really neat and detailed when done, Iv done a lot of embroidery but I don't think that's exactly the same thing lol.

I have done some long stitch in the past - its nor my favourite type of embroidery though and reaaaaaly not my best. When done well it can be truly beautiful.

I never really got into it - my mom has a half-finished kit, but I couldn't really get into it. I admire the finished pieces.
Mostly my crafts now are plastic canvas and cross stitch.
