I'll grant you that I know virtually nothing about 3D printing but I didn't think the prices on these we're bad at all. I quite like the one with Spike at the desk.

It's interesting to see Trixie there though. Didn't Welovefine create pretty much the same figure?

Trixie is actually this guy's 3D model.  It seems that they have his other works for sale on superfanart. I hope he knows about it.

That's a pretty high prize on a simple RD. I'd rather look up a sculptor in dA. Also I'm pretty much pushed away by those grainy pictures. You can't really see what the final product will be like when it's done. Most 3d printers still leave very visible lines between layers that are hard to sand off and look ugly.

I find it funny that Muffins is cheaper than AJ or Spitfire.. and Even cheaper than Pinkie Pie... but yeah I would not pay those prices... actually while I would love to try 3D Printing... I still would want it to be a brushable pony XD

For some reason I have an odd feeling it's going to be EQG related...

Too bad it's that sandstone stuff. At least if it was the plastic it could be smoothed with acetone. Tho I guess it could be sanded tho it doesn't seem like they bother. I have seen 3D printed stuff that looks smooth.

These are really cool! I also want that really famous :muffin: one. Yikes, dem prices though! Ouchies....

Soo these are made with sandstone... are they fragile or would they disolve in water? xD

They are extremely fragile. Don't know about their solubility in water and possible issues with moisture, though.

I'm not sure either, but I do know that getting any water on them will damage the paint, since it uses the same ink as you'd find on paper.
