* please note 'adult oriented' involves more sitting down and talking quietly, mayyyybe cards against humanity or other non-pony games. No drinking, no gambling, nothing wild and crazy.

I completely understand, I actually just canceled plans for tomorrow night. For an introvert with anxiety issues, there's no greater rush than canceling plans.

But that was some random meet-and-greet thing, and I have more than enough IRL friends now. (Six, in case you were wondering.) This will be pony people! Pony people are great. Because pony people will understand why you need to have a little sit-down in the hallway like I did during the VA Meet a couple of years ago.

Now, the places I'm looking aren't near metro stations, but that's not an issue - I'll pick you up. I lived in Fairfax, 66 is just a nightmare, I totally understand why you'd want to metro in. Just get yourself to the Crystal City stop, and I'll come get you, then we'll head to the venue together.

I get super nervous in crowds, but pony meets are the best. You should come but no pressure

games (g-rated) - pony related games are the best, I'm sure folks would have lots of ideas from other meets and maybe for original games
games (adult-oriented*) - I'm mostly interested in pony related games, these are my all pony-all day days, I don't have a lot of time with my ponies and my job is hard so it's nice to get out of reality a couple times a year
showing off collections - sure
mini-presentations - sure, these are fun
custom/artwork contests - always fun to see, but I don't usually participate

Hey everyone! Sorry about the lack of updates. I'm disabled and life has been...exciting?...lately so Metro Meet got shoved to the back burner for a bit. (Dramatic Coast Guard rescue! Lawsuits! Job offers! Broken relationships! Family reunions! Dragon Con! Sick pets! And not enough naps by half.)

BUT I have found a lovely venue, Metro-accessible, with on-site parking! Just waiting for application approval and estimate now. But hopefully we'll be set for the Metro Meet on:
