Forbidden Planet, yes: they buy straight from retailer so they probably bought bulk from TRU wholesale and their stock was pretty poor. A1, no; they buy direct from Hasbro UK therefore they will have been stocked by Hasbro UK as a supplier

....Interesting. I wonder why TRU won't pick the lines up. Though, considering they hiked the price of the PPB line...yeah, I can do without them having it Sucks to have to order ponies online, though. With all the factory flaws G4s have, buying them "blind" is such a gamble

Its wild speculation but I cant help but wonder if the line just is not a fantastic seller in the UK. We dont have the cartoon push they have in the US, advertising for the line on childrens channels is pretty woeful and other than the lines main annual drivers [this year the jumping RD and the Castle] they seem to never get any marketing support in comparison to other Hasbro lines. The main toy retailers in this country - from the supermarkets to the likes of Argos and Smyths - do not actually any where close to the whole line [online or in store] and even The Entertainer, which was the best store for them for a while, has downed the number of products it carries. For that reason I wonder if TRU simply dont see the value of an exclusive line - which is as special as these [as opposed to pink ponies with pink accessories] would be a worthwhile stock?

OH that's great! Makes sense that she is going to be released that way- otherwise I think the doll/pony set might have been pretty expensive.

My guess she will still cost at least $10 to $12, which is more than a normal pony but less than SOME EQG Dolls if you got it in store.. otherwise she will cost closer to a Fashion Styling pony ._.

I'm kind of basing this off of Shadow Dash's pricing For me that pony from TRU's online store cost $10.99.. plus the estimated shipping of $7.99, which makes the sum up to about $18.98--- so needless to say I won't get her, mostly because I'm not taking a 2hr+ drive one way to get a pony

I dunno, I can't help but feel that if our toy stores had even half the space the US ones do, then maybe MLP might do better. My sister is really into those Moshi Monsters things and it seems to be the sheer variety of characters and toys that keeps her interested, whereas considering we get such slim pickings on pony characters and all, I could see kids easily becoming bored with the selection and moving onto something else.

Considering how poorly TRU's other exclusives have sold (entirely their own fault for overpricing them) it doesn't surprise me they're not carrying them, but it's a shame that the Entertainer or another chain won't pick them up.

In the mean time...gonna pray TRU Canada pick her up before the end of June so I can grab her before I go home (not likely but, I can hope!)

Oh awesome!! She's the "Favorites Collection" Window box pony!!!! I was wondering who it would be, since we'd seen no hint of a Glow in the Dark pony this year!! And YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!! I don't have to get a doll!! It means she'll be reasonably priced and I don't need to buy a bunch of expensive dolls!! Now, we just need to see this happen with Octavia!!
