I nearly bought this showbag at the ekka, as the promo pics had either the funrise or ty (I can't actually remember which) plushes, but when I got there and saw the horrible crane machine plushes that hubby had already picked up for me in the machines, I let the whole bag stay there. I've never even seen a AJ or RD in those plushes, and they're in all the crane machines around here!

Hunter Leisure never makes AJ or RD in any of their plush sizes or types. Just the range of four, Pinkie, Rarity, Twilight and Fluttershy.

Maybe AJ is making a come-back.  Those new puzzle erasers have Applejack!  Oddly enough, they seem to have left out... Twilight ??   But of course they didn't forget Pinkie...

I love how those erasers have raritys tail as just a purple version of fluttershys! I feel so sorry for applejack, though my favorite is rainbow dash, applejack is still important!
Maybe Hasbro will replace her with bon bon, she has pink on her and candy, that's girly right?? Or maybe celestia doesn't like applejack and is out to ruin her over a bad Apple she got. "This will be worse than banishment!"

I didn't actually go to the ekka, my dad did, I was still in singapore!
But since I only started collecting this year, I didn't have a lot and all ponies are welcome in my collection. (even if the quality is kind of dodgy :/) And a few years back, my sister got a really cute Minty plush in her MLP showbag so I thought that I could get something like that. Which I did. So I guess I'm happy. They look nice on my shelf at least. Even with their squished up noses haha.
And to be honest I can kind fo see why they wouldn't mass produce RD since you know...rainbows, but AJ is like the most tame pony, why not make AppleJack?

They got rid of AJ to make room for those wings they just placed on an old Twilight vector.

Why would you put a brushable tail on a backpack? What child is brushing the hairs on their backpack in class? This just looks like a terrible idea.

I'm honestly surprised how much of this stuff has Rarity on it. It used to feel like it was always Rarity and AJ that got left out, not just AJ. Applejack may not be my favorite (Rarity is) but I still want to see her on merchandise! I actually won't buy anything that only includes 5 out of the 6 ponies on it...well maybe if they left off RD, but that will never happen

My favorite pony has been replace with a Disney princess... not even another pony....

Wonder if it was a knock off from china, they have a habit of mixing things up. Shrugs If looked at Engrish.com ( full of wonderful  ways the Orient 'translates' or language) and they have marvel characters with D.C. ones that put together in the same packaging. It can happen.

Yes Applejack, you'll be perfectly visible in that corner.

Poor AJ, I like her as she is the only G1 pony represented, and that picture should go in another topic- what one least like about ML- the whole rainbow, sparkle , glitter, dazzle ponieness . I know she'll be replaced by a new pony crossover Rainbow Sparkle Dazzle Bright.
