New G4 Theme: Wild Rainbow

I honestly liked the Rainbow Power stuff, but this is just a little too much.  I never thought there'd be any Sweetie Belle toy I wouldn't buy (well, G4 Sweetie), but here we are.

Nice call on the Wild Rainbow theory, Flitter I think you could be spot on with the idea of it being Targets line this year as well - its unlikely the main line is going to change from Rainbow Power so quickly.

Well, darn, rainbow animal print is one of my most favorite motifs ever, but I don't like how they did it here. :/ Only on the back legs? Maybe even just the one display side leg, which would be even worse.

Same here. I kinda wish the CMC ones were more "Lisa Frank loud" about the Wild Rainbow theme, though.

We'll I guess that throws the target exclusive theory out though it does technically says Rainbow Power on the bike, not Wild Rainbow... The design is the same though so I'm doubting that it's an exclusive line now. We'll just have to continue to wait and see!

Thank you Maybe as mentioned its just going to be something used for the CMC so that they can join in the Rainbow Power theme in their own unique way.

Hasbro doesn't usually display what is coming up at SDCC like Mattel does with MH do they?

They do normally. They have confirmed all exclusives at this point other than Jem and MLP, I think. In fact today they confirmed a second TF exclusive. If you check out SDCC Unofficial Blog, you normally get a fantastic run through of exclusives and what each manufacturer has confirmed.

I mean how Mattel usually showcases what dolls are on the way in a huge glass case. I know they have the exclusive but they do little else besides that. Unless they do that during the fair instead.

Maybe Wild Rainbow is a hint towards the Season opener.

Oh right I am with you. They did for the last couple of years - it was far from the full range for the year but they did feature a lot of what was coming on the stand. However there was never anything which we had not already seen at the Toy Fair. Although you never know...
