She does have a little fang, she's one of the monster girls.

I'm very blessed to have my husband. He's very supportive of my doll habits

Where would you suggest one to look for a Blythe customizer? Are there any particular websites, blogs, etc. you would recommend? I enjoy custom dolls, but would rather not work on them myself.

Once I can figure out money conversion and such I'm definitely going to have to look into getting one of these lovelies. All of these are fairy new to me so I'm still a little lost for what to go for and such.

It's so wonderful to see more Blythe fans here! I've been in the Blythe hobby since 2004 and have had a lot of dollies come and go from my family. Here are a few photos of some of my girls:

Plum
My Kozy celebrity in the Blythe world! She's my sidekick, always and forever.

Braille
She's my blonde vintage 1972 Kenner Blythe, one of the original dolls who started the whole Blythe revolution.

Roslin Pinkinshire
She's the very first full custom Blythe I ever made, my 100% pink girl, also known as "The Pink Ghost." She was created to be the "spokes doll" for my big Pinkinshire doll project.

Limbo
This is my Limbo (the game) inspired Blythe. Her eyelids have detailed art imagery painted on them. Her whole design is meant to reflect the melancholy mood of the game.

There's a few of us here that do customs, myself and Buzzingbumblebee come to mind.

You can join Blythe Kingdom as well and look into their Salon's section http://blythekingdom.forumotion.com
This is one of my favorite customizers: http://kaleidoscopekustoms.blogspot.com

TwistedRiver- I use XE currency converter to figure out prices, http://www.xe.com/currencyconverter/
If you need any help, feel free to PM me. Always happy to help out a new Blythe friend. :)

Happily Candied- Roslin Pinkinshire is hands down one of my favorite custom girls. I can never get enough pictures of her. She's so soft, sweet and whimsical and yet so devious at the same time.

http://www.blythopia.com/ is a good resource for news, and a guide to the different facemolds and releases. I also like the This is Blythe site and forum, even if it's not as popular and active as it was a few years ago. I love seeing everyone's customs! And ive always admired Happily Candied's Kozy, Plum! My family is pretty small - Tommy February 6, Asian Butterfly Encore, Miss Sally Rice, Love Mission, and Ebony. My fave is TF6 because I love the singer! Blythe dolls are cool because their so well made, and I like their mysterious facial expression.  I'm glad they're not always super smiley and cheerful.

Neat Vertefae ^-^. I like dollies with cute fangs <3.

Congrats glory78, I hope you are happy with her.

Happily Candied, you have some really lovely girls. I love Roslin Pinkinshire, the perfect spokes doll :).

The customizers I love are popular and I haven't really checked how to get a doll customized by them. Too expensive, well the customs they sell are anyway :P. It's much cheaper when I do it myself ^-^. I'm slowly going to accept custom orders.

candiedapples- I love all the different facial expressions of blythes as well, they are the perfect customizing base for me <3. I want to have a whole load of different custom blythes eventually :D.

All these pictures inspire me to go to Tuesday Morning! I have a question you guys might think is stupid... whats the connection between these Bythe dolls and the LPS Blythe doll? Was LPS Blythe named and designed after these dolls or are these bythe dolls on this thread customized LPS blythe dolls? The LPS Blythe looks similar to everyones dolls here! Just curious, still newish to a lot of doll brands.

The LPS Blythe were modeled and named after these Blythe dolls. The first Blythe dolls were produced back in the 1970's by Kenner. Most Blythe dolls these days are so called NeoBlythe produced by Takara that are modeled after the original Kenner Blythe dolls. :)

I am now excited to say I am awaiting my first Blythe Doll. She ships out tomorrow and is probably going to take forever and a day to get here because that's how my luck usually runs, but I know she will be worth the wait! I will definitely take some pics when she arrives. :)
And I want to thank Vertefae for all her help and answering tons of noobish questions. *huggles*
