If you ask in the restoration thread, I am sure someone will be able to help you out + someone would probably be able to tell you who made the tutorial about that kind of cleaning :)

moonsugar: Cupcake and Sugar Belle have got "dots", because they have got magnets in theirs noses.
magnets are dark because it's clash.
