$30 Celestia at TRU?!

So I called Toys R Us again, trying to find the Celestia and Cadance plushies. This time I was told that yes, there was a white one with wings, but she's 20 inches instead of 15-ish and the price tag is $29.99. 

What happened?! Did Funrise make a 20-inch Celestia? Did the worker get confused and she really is the 15-inch size? Did the wrong price tag get put on her?

Or, horrors, is Toys R Us now charging $30 for Princess plushies instead of $20?!

Of course the only way to really know for sure is to drive up there and look, but I hate to drag someone up there to look when I already know that for $30 I'd have to pass.

I think it's just a case of confusion.  At our Toys R Us, they just threw the princesses in with the 20" plushes, so quick glance at the price sticker on the shelf reads $30. That's more than likely the case that happened here.  If I'm not mistaken, the 15" Princess plushes go for $20 at TRU. Hope that helps!

I hope that's all it is. I heard the worker actually scanning the barcode or something on the plush; she didn't just read a sticker on a shelf.

Princess Celestia is no longer on the website but the other 2 are and they are still $19.99. I am glad I got them when I did. Knowing TRUs they may increase the price like they did for the first favorite collection. Hope you can find them for a reasonable price.

Calling the store again resulted in them finding a Cadance at the right price, but the expensive white one with wings and a 20-inch Rainbow Dash the other lady found earlier seem to have both disappeared. Oh, such confusing things, calling stores.

Hoping to get in and get Cadance; she's on hold for me now.

yeah i heard about that.
they didn't have the princess' labeled when i went in to get candance for my niece. so after the coupon i ended up getting her for 12.50.

I also did not at first but some how stumbled upon them one night and quickly bought all 3 with a coupon and free shipping.

I got very lucky today at Walmart finding her for $10 if it's the same size we are talking about. Before today I haven't seen the at all so maybe they are starting to finally hit more shelves in more stores?

i wanna say the Princess ponies being sold at Walmart was a Black Friday-type of situation. I havent seen them at Walmart since December, if that.

Yeah, that's what I started worrying it was, but they have been popping up at various Wal-Marts long after Black Friday.

They are technically classed as 18inch plushies in the product material so her ending up with the 20inch price range is probably about right.

Your welcome, the coupon was one I had gotten with a purchase at the store and no longer works (sorry it will not help you now). There may be some coupons active right now but I am not sure. Good luck.

I wish even more that I could track her down for the $10 Wal-Mart price! Some people keep finding the Princess plushies anew at Wal-Mart, which throws me back to wondering if I need to hold out hope for a little longer.

I have that Cadance on hold at Toys R Us, however, and on the other hand I still worry about letting her go, since my Wal-Marts may never get them and I'll completely lose out if I don't try for Toys R Us. Problem is, at the moment my spending money is being transferred to my account and is not in my account. I don't even have enough in my account right now to go get her. **headdesk.** I'm still debating whether to call up my friend, see if she'll take me, and loan me a few dollars to get Cadance. It would help if she was into Ponies too, but I don't think she is. At least, certainly not to the collecting level. But we had fun when she took me to get Rarity at Build-a-Bear two weeks ago.

I keep going back and forth on whether to keep waiting for Wal-Mart or not. Has anyone else found them at Wal-Mart recently? I'm wondering, as is that other poster, if they're just now starting to become more populous again and if my nearest TRU getting Cadance is an indication that possibly the Wal-Marts around here will finally get them.
