All the G3 Love

I have the feeling only G1 and G3 were able to pull off the "pony" in My Little Pony

I super agree with this!!!!

I love horses and for me the G3s are the most similar to them 


So, G3 is my fave gen now. When I was a kid I collected G2s, the G3 arrived when I was in the high school, and I didn´t collect those years, but the past year I started to collect them. I also have 5 G4s because I love to make families and they look good as sons of the G3s, maybe I aslo should buy G1s as parents of the G3s lol

And also the drawing style of the G3 tv cartoons are my fave


My faves are white ponies, and if I have to choose only one maybe it would be Denim Blue. I see Denim as a boy pony (and also Star Carcher, Mistletoe, PeriWinkle are boys for my eyes lol), and I just love his face expression ♥

Yay, I love G3! Like many others, it's the generation that made me start collecting! I was 13 when they came out and I started collecting pretty much immediately and haven't stopped.

I had a little G3 photo shoot today. I will probably do some more tomorrow if we have decent sunlight - these girls are just fabulous to photograph! Just a few beauties from my ever growing G3 collection:

Oh gosh! This cutie is doing the horse lip thing. You know, the thing they do when you itch their itchy spot and their lip quivers. G3 made a pony doing that? Just more proof that G3 is fantastic and actually represent the "pony" in MLP.

Ah, remember back in 2005 and there were soooo many different G3 characters in stores we complained we couldn't keep up?

We didn't know when we were well off.

I remember squealing when I saw my first G3. Love them.

I have five new cuties on their way to me. Two of them MiB no less! And one of them an exclusive I never saw here in Germany. So happy

That means my herd now looks like this: Autumn Skye, Wysteria (Cascade version), four Mintys, two Merriweathers, Crystal Crown, Pretty Pop, Spring Treat, Desert Rose, Shell-Belle, Flower Wishes and Bashful Bonnet.
I really need to take pictures! 15 G3s and there's still room for more

I love G3! I have the most G3s than anything because they're way more common and cheaper. I usually buy them secondhand at the flea market and they're always really messed up. I like fixing them up though.

I don't personally collect them but my sister has some, I washed three today for her and they were Dance Slippers,  Flower Garland and Daisy May

They were a pleasure to wash, going to get the acetone on one and then I'll snap photos.

Oooh I love G3 and don't tell G1 but I'm pretty sure it's my favorite gen.  I am a G3 collector with a few G1s (mostly my poor dirty childhood ponies) and a very tiny amount of G4 thrown in.

Anyway I grew up with G1 and to me that is MLP.  So when G3 (didn't know about G2) came out that looked similar to G1 they brought me right back to my childhood and made me warm and fuzzy.  I started collecting them when they first came out, but missed the last couple of years due to stupid life issues.  So I haven't been actively collecting ponies since 2006 .  Then the G4s came out and I'm sorry but they aren't the ponies I know.  They are just so odd looking haha.  So a few weeks ago I got my ponies out of the boxes and started cleaning them, sell off the ones I don't like.  Of course I remembered why I loved them in the first place and I already have a few G3s on the way, so much for trying to down size 

I even bought a few G4.  That's staying that way.  I'm a little bit disappointed that they are smaller than my G3s for pretty much the same price.

I will get updated pics of my set up, but here are some old ones.
