Light up ponies battery replacement

I recently heard that it's impossible to put new batteries in any of the G2 light up ponies.  I figured that SOMEONE out there must have found a way, so if anyone has successfully done it, I would love to hear how, especially if you have pictures!

If someone has done it for one it could be possible for all, so my lil couple could say "i love you" once more.... that's be cute

On a side note, I won a G2 that said no longer worked, and it did!!!! I was well chuffed

No unfortunately the batteries cannot be replaced They are one of those toys with a hidden compartment which is not accessible in order to change the batteries. Even the packaging, if I remember correctly, stated that the batteries were irreplaceable.

What I'm really wondering though is if someone forced it open and remade it to be replaceable maybe?

Not that I have ever heard of or seen of to be honest. In order to get to the compartment you would need to destroy part of the pony. I would guess that has prevented very many attempts at it.

Hmm, if I ever get one of these ponies, I might make an attempt to cleanly open the compartment and find a way to replace the batteries then.
