Great news, if it's for real! I really hope they keep her bangs. When they re-released Rarity, she was virtually the same as her first release, wasn't she? Not that she ever had bangs, but I mean, they didn't change her or her accessories from the first release.

I'm somewhat tempted to sell mine and then buy her back when her price drops.  But I also know I want to keep my original AJ.  She is loose with accessories, so won't fetch the crazy high prices of MIB anyway, and what if this announcement is false?  Have we confirmed it?

This may be confirmed by... Taobao. There are some AJs showing up and as we know, almost everything that pops up on Taobao, later is available in stores.

Although I have those ponies and it is not clear that they are legit yet-  most notably, they are marked 2010 on their hooves, not 2014 like the other new FS ponies just coming out.

But then maybe Hasbro is going to do a "original favorites" collection or something (like they did with Lala Loopsy and LPS?  That would make sense to me. 

I do think it likely given the increased production costs (all toy companies have been bumping up prices) that they are going to scale down the size and amount of hair on the FS ponies.  The Taobao one above have the same length of hair- but only two rows.  The bodies are slightly smaller too (more in line with the smaller size of the new fluttershy)

I think the fact she is shown with Bangs makes me think it's fake.  Hasbro wouldn't switch back to that just for AJ.  IMO.

I've been hankering for an FS Applejack a long while now - she's my fave pony and the only one I would consider getting in the large FS size, but dang is she pricey!  I'm so glad to hear there are re-releases on the way!!

It was funny, I was on call with my boyfriend last night when I heard this announcement, and he was laughing because of all of the excited non-human noises coming from me 

Needless to say, I am incredibly excited! And even if she physically is different from her original release, I will probably happily buy both (yeah cause even if they aren't the same, her price will still drop, much like what happened to Muffin)

Gotta say guys, as excited as I am for some of you to finally get her, this is the fakest looking thing I have ever seen. Hasbro would not use pictures from strawberry reef for one, and second the the accessories are recolored ones we have already seen, when we always have gotten new accessories with new releases. This is just a hoax, until there are real images don't believe it.
