I am going to guess that the pics don't represent what the actual product will be. I can't figure out what to make of photoshopped Daisy Dreams, but I have seen a lot of retailers just use the Applejack stock photo on their websites to show that they have Fashion Style ponies, since AJ was one of the first FS ponies.

Maybe they will release a rainbow power FS AJ? I would totally buy that.

Ohhhhhhh I just don't know what to do!!!!!  I just got my original FS Applejack out for photographing to sell, but reading this thread it scares me that this re-release isn't happening - and if so I know I'll be gutted if I've sold her and that turns out to be the case.  The FS's are the only G4s I'm really hell bent on collecting every one of - I even won 'she who shall not be named' at UK Ponycon in 2012 so it's a pretty complete collection right now.  What do you think I should do??? x

What would upset you more?  Selling her and there isn't a release?
Or keeping her and her value goes down?

Its a tough one.

I am sure she will get a release at some point - but she could be so radically different in release and she will certainly be missing the bangs and have a different head mould probably. Over time her price is sure to drop anyway just naturally, however, it is a gamble...there is always the possibility that Hasbro will halt the fashion line suddenly and unexpectedly [they do seem to have gone off the concept of ponies with brushable hair anyway ]

I guess it comes down to why you would want to sell her. Are you holding on to her in case her price increase or do you want her in your collection. If the former I would probably take the gamble and sell her now. If the latter, I would hold on to her. As long as you did not pay the $100+ price tag for her originally then  you arent really loosing out of her price did bottom out over time.
