Airbrush help?

Not sure if this should go here or off topic. Figured more airbrush users might see it here but feel free to move if needed.

So I had some troubles with my airbrush so I took it apart to clean it. The trigger was sticking due to back flushed paint/water so I also removed the air valve. My husband helped me get it off but it seems we didn't pay well enough attention to how it went together because now I can't seem to get it back together properly. If I put the pieces of the air valve together how it seems they should go something is wrong and it doesn't work right. Can anyone help me out?
