PC on MLP Tales Ponies
« on: January 25, 2014, 09:03:39 AM »
So, I'd really like to collect the UK exclusive Pony Tales ponies. What should I expect to pay for them all in average-excellent condition?  ^.^

Oh right they are not uk exclusives most of Europe got the set. I think the coral peeps could help you more. I think most go around $15-20 some less

many actually sell for alot more on ebay.com I would say your looking at around $20 - 30 for each one. Bon bon and clover tend to be the most popular.

They seem to be pretty popular lately. At least on ebay I have seen them stay pretty low until a few minutes before bidding ends and then a handful of people make the prices jump well over $50. I was able to get Sweetheart for about $20 a few months ago. Good luck in your search.

Tales ponies are always pretty popular but they pop up for sale reasonably often. If you watch European/Aus ebays you will catch them at a better price than when they

Patch - $30
Bright Eyes - $35
Bon Bon - $18-20
Sweetheart - $18-20
Melody - $16
Clover - $30 - she can go a touch higher if her hair is super pink or will drop lower if her hair is faded
Starlight - $22
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

I paid about that much for Clover a few years ago, maybe a bit more. She's the only Tales pony I have.

I didn't realize that Clover's hair faded. The hair on mine is nice and pink but for some reason I assumed that it wasn't fading pink. No idea how that got in my head.

Thanks guys! I'll definetly keep an eye out when I try to get Clover. I am picky about hair fading. This will keep me from overpaying for them.  I'll have to post when I complete my set!

My absolute favorite is Bon Bon, so I'm willing to spend a little more on her, but the others would just be really cute to go with.

Its not the same fading pink [or at least not the same manufacture] as Posey but its the same pink as we see with Love Story and Nice n Spicy - it does not fade as easily as the earlier ponies but still fades quicker than most other colours. I have always though they simply improved the manufacture of the fading pink at some point
