2014 Minnesota Pony Meet - August 23rd - get ready!

Moving this to the beginning of the thread so people don't have to dig for information!


Date: Saturday August 23rd
Time: 10am for set up, refreshments and social time; 11am buy/sell/trade begin!
Location: ponyqueen's house in Burnsville, MN (Twin Cities metro area)

Only a little over two months until the Pony Goodness of the North!
I'm pretty sure it will be a potluck, and everyone is welcome! Bring ponies to sell, trade, and a wishlist for completing your collection!

Please also consider bringing something for the prize table and if you have any fun games, bring 'em!

ok hum depends when it is. I would like to go again this year. June is defiantly out for me  with work aka farming. I am also planning on going to the pony fair again in July.  I also loved the potluck and seeing pony friends. anyone else going to the fair this  year? if it is in the cities again the ren fair would be nice to go to that starts  aug 16. How is the end of aug 23rd-24. you could also have it when I can't come it will just be a year off for me.

August 23/24 works for me! And I wouldn't mind having it in the cities, I know that's a long ways for the Dakota folks. If I remember right, there was a discussion last year of a Dakota meet, but I don't remember if it was North or South.

It was North Dakota. I don't know if that will happen this year unless the lady from Grand Forks (can't remember her name  ) is able to set it up as I will be of no help to anyone until summer 2015. I most likely won't be able to make it to the MN one this year since I got into nursing school and they own me now until May 2015 straight through summer . I will miss seeing everyone !

I would not mind doing a North Dakota one but thought not enough people. who would be interested. I know there is one girl in town that collects.

So what if we tentatively say August 23rd, and we'll start the ball rolling with my house for a location. It would be better if it were in the cities, but this is a start, at least.
I live down near Albert Lea, technically I'm in Wells, but I live in the country between Wells and New Richland.
Anyone else?

I would like it to be a little closer so I can go too.  But I don't know if I will be able to go if it is during august since my schedule will be weird enough making room for Renn. fest.  I'll have to keep an eye out and see what happens.

o wow wells is about another 2 hr away from the city that is a very long drive for me. hum
