Little Green Men . . . Want Your Ponies!

Put on your imagination cap and take a journey with me . . .

It is 3AM, and you can't sleep.  Getting out of bed, you walk to your pony room (yes, in this dream we all have one) and begin acting out "Let's Not Take a Nap" (Escape from Katrina) with your baby ponies in a desperate attempt to become sleepy.  At that moment, an eerie play of rainbow-colored lights dances across the window.  In a flash, the window opens!  At first, you a blinded by a flash of brilliant light, but when your eyes adjust, you find before you three small green space men!

The space men tell you they have come to Earth in search of the perfect brushable equine toy.  When they flew over [insert your hometown here], their sensors lit up, detecting the presence of hundreds of ideal specimens.  The space men ask for you to please allow them to take three of your favorite ponies back to their ship for careful study.  The ponies will become prototypes for an intergalactic line of new My Little Ponies.  They will be made of a plastic-like material that will never lose its color or degrade!  And your choices will shape the entire future of the line!

The space men promise to beam the ponies back to you when they are done.

What do you do?

A: You pick three ponies that will be the inspiration for the new line [which ones?].  Sure, you'll probably never see the new line, but maybe because of you there will be a galaxy full of Cherry Treats that never turn brown or Party Times that never develop regrind!

B: You decline to lend the space men your ponies (the world can't risk losing another Greek Lady Bird!), but you give them words of wisdom, something you wish someone had told Hasbro in 1982 (example:  BEWARE THE BEDDY-BYE EYE).

C: You wave your arms in the air and cry out "Be Gone!"  These are intruders and they want your ponies!!!

as to which ones i would pick.. lesee..
well g1 glory because she was  my first pony and there for perfect even if shes old and worn
then starchaser from g3 because he ( for some reason i see this pony as a he   ) just rocks..

Okay. First of all, this is one of the most amazing thread premises ever.

I would definitely send the aliens off with a Flutter pony, as they're my favorite. And they can make the wings just as beautiful, but unbreakable!

I'd give them a Sweet Talkin' Pony so they can have talking ponies in all sorts of alien languages!

I would also give them the prototype art for the Celestial ponies. If anyone can make them happen, it's aliens from space!

I would choose to send out only G1s because I would like these foreign civilizations to take some of the original designs of MLP and then over the years they can develop and change as they see fit, potentially in vastly different directions to where our earthly means took it to G2 and beyond.

I only actually have six G1 ponies but in theoretical dreamworld pony room, I would choose... Night Glider for spawning more gorgeous pastel TaF ponies with intricate symbols, blue heart Dazzleglow for more translucent and glow in the dark fun, and an Oakly for continuing production of Pony Friends hopefully in all kinds of animal forms *coughcoughstagcough*

Oooh this is so cool! I'll take A, just because I love the idea of G1s being made again and I love sharing pony goodness with others- even little green men!

First I'd pick Bowtie because she's so classy and she's one of my favorites.

Next would be Midnight Dream because she's my favorite G3, has a gorgeous design and color scheme, and is also very classy!

For G4 I'd say Easter Fluttershy, because she's also very classy! (If we have to please someone who has never seen a MLP before, we might as well go with class!) Her colors are so delicate, her accessories are very cute, and I like her "almost Twice As Fancy" symbol.

Okay, so the best after midnight post ever to read....
Picking A.. and I would have to say a G1, probably Moondancer, or Bowtie, or a Mountain Boy (hey its a dream- I can afford one!!!)  for the body, a Celestial pony for the ideas, and I agree, even though I do not collect flutter ponies, that one would have to be a flutter pony just so they could perfect the wings! oh.. and maybe through in a few customs or ideas just for kicks...

I'd go with A) for starters.  Hey, eventually there might be space travel in the not-so-distant future, too, and then I can get something.  Right? 

Anyway, I'd choose:

A). Either Glory or Moondancer, a classic with a semi-celestial theme.

B) a baby like Baby Cotton Candy

C). Tornado.  Maybe they can find a way to keep pink hair from fading.

I would happily lend them some ponies

I think I would go with; Boysenberry Pie, Salty and Baby Surprise.

That way they get samples of both sexes as well as adult and baby ponies.
And earth, unicorn and pegasus too!

Well I'd probably faint after choice c.

But if they were still there when I came through, I'd give them several commons, but beautiful ponies that embody my little pony to me.

2.) windy
3.) medley
4.) posey
5.) gusty
7.) heart throb
8.) sky dancer
9.) powder
10.) confetti
11.) tootsie
12.) blossom

I'd also give them baits ponies and ponies know with problems so they could study them too! Like a snoozed pony, cancer ponies, and regrind.

I'd probably give them sea ponies, babies, flutters, twinkle eyes, and brothers too. In hopes that they don't kill me and that they'd make a relaunch of g1s!

Me: "please....ttttake these ttttooo...eek! Don't hurt me!"

If I'm not gonna get any of the Ponies, find other Ponies! If they beam me back Ponies, they can take some. MY PONIES!

C) I would unleash upon them the hoard of zombie pandas which I store in my garden shed...they are fed bacon only once a week in order to keep them hungry just in case a random alien space ship were to chance upon my secret layer,. The aliens would flee in fear of the rampaging pandas and warp not only from Scotland but from Earth and the entire Solar System. Therefore leaving all my ponies safe...and ponies the world over safe from future marauding alien pirates looking for the bounty of the "rare original earth MLPs".

And Cat saves the world again.

I will admit- I'd be loath to give them any of my favorite ponies-  but I might give them a Tex who has been floating around (with pony cancer) and instruct them to make him clear and sparkly ....  and provide me with a box of 18 clear sparkly different colored ponies in return...
