Update: PinkiePony reached out to me and sent me compensation via PayPal (more than I expected, which was very kind).

I've requested to have the original feedback comment I left for PinkiePony removed/edited to reflect that she made everything right in the end.

I was involved in a trade with PinkiePony two months ago.

Her communication was terrible. About a month later, she finally gave me a story to explain why I never got my end of the trade. I had already left a negative feedback, but told her that, once I received my item, I would request to have it taken down. She had promised that she'd have her end of the trade mailed to me. I suspected that she didn't actually have the item she was supposed to send me, so I gave her the option of sending me $2.50 via PayPal (which is, I think, extremely generous: $0.65 for a G3 plushie bookmark and $1.85 to cover the postage and envelope).

That was a month ago.

Still nothing.

Now it's been brought to my attention that she's sending out "free give-a-ways" from her website?!

I had every intention of just walking away, but...really? PinkiePony can't make good on something she essentially STOLE from me? Yet she can give away free items to promote her pony blog?

I am sorry you had a bad experience. I am curious though did this take place here or on the TP? While I completely understand the frustration, I want to make sure it is something that took place on this board. If it was can you please contact Ringlets or I for further assistance.

It was a little of both: it originated at the TP, but then we carried on our PM's here due to her inability to access the TP from her phone/school computer.

Aw, that really sucks that she'd not follow through on a trade like that

It's not like it's even that much money to make things right - if she's doing giveaways, she should be able to send you a refund at least.

Maybe she'll see this and make things right!

Seriously, this is not good when people enter trades, offer items for sale or sign up for a swap and just do nothing. It hurts me for the other people involved. Its just not that difficult to contact someone if you are in a crisis and its not that hard to send a refund when you make a mistake. Sometimes mistakes like these are far reaching. They don't always affect the person that is to receive a swap box but several other people that put money, time and effort into correct a mistake that wasn't even theirs. I really hope all of this gets resolved.

This doesnt sound good at all

She didnt send her end of at least two trades (so one was partly TP and partly here and the other was TP, right? ) and yet she is offering to give free items to people as well? something sounds very off. Thank you for letting us know what happened.

Makes me wonder...maybe she participates in trades to steal items, and do giveaways with those stolen items?

Glad to hear, I was upset at hearing there were any issues between PinkiePony and anyone else, I've met her and traded with her a few times and never had issues, I'm very glad you have resolved it!
