Is there a new event going involving Tirek? I got an app notification mentioning Tirek, but I've not seen anything for an event.

I haven't been playing but I doubt it. MYygame used to give me random tirek notifications after I had beaten him already.

Thanks. I was worried it wasn't updating properly. I still have the options to do the Cheese sandwhich party event quests. My tablet died for a little while shortly after stage 2 started. It was very frustrating.

The cheese sandwich one doesn't go away. Ive been working on it when i have the gems etc.
Thats the quest that gives you spike

I see. I've been working on it too whenever I don't need the gems for something else. Was slightly worried I'd get to the end of it and it'd say "oops you were too late for the party" or something like that and not give me anything for finishing the quests.

I haven't seen her in my game yet. Is this a sneak peek? I get really scared I'm going to lose all my progress when the backstory video plays when I am trying to load the game. Does that happen to anyone else?

What comes after buy an apple peeler? I don't have enough gems to buy one and am wondering if it is worth skipping? Also does anyone else have trouble getting Twilight to finish her tasks in real time? I had to use gems to skip hers because  the timer wouldn't count down in real time? I got a notification that Twilight  had finished her task but when I went into the game she was still reading the book.

The next quest is to buy an asparagus stand and get 5 asparagus from it (takes 4hr 10min to produce)

I skipped the apple peeler, I kinda feel like it was ridiculous. I mean the second quest part to a new event is 40 gems? that's just too much. Plus I need all my gems to move my story quest along.

I haven't had a problem with Twilight or any of the others. I'm not sure how I feel about this little system they are implementing. More than half the tasks require you to spend gems just to be able to do them.

It is pretty crappy. I managed to finally save up enough to get town hall and unlock Luna (I won coco which completed the 40 gem collection and pushed me over 360 gems!)

So yeah, I'm not trying super hard to get through the coloratura quests.

i always go for the cheaper route with the decorations.
i don't like decorating the towns so i just keep them all in storage.
if the skip is cheaper that's what i'll chose, but if i can use bits to buy it, i'll go that route.

I bought the dumb apple peeler, I thought "maybe it's a useful decoration, or a shop or something!" Nope. Oh well! Good thing I have some spare gems. Now I have to sit here and watch paint dry as the asparagus sloooowly recharges...

After the apple peeler, the asparagus task,  and the fruit bat quests they want you to produce carrots at the carrot farm and buy the carrot cake (55 gems!). I paid the 10 gems to skip the cake. I also paid the 10 gems to skip the apple peeler. 

I FINALLY got enough tokens to get Svengallop!  The last 5 were sooooohard to get!
