About the missing shops and new ponies from the game, I ranted to my boyfriend about it and the best explanation he could come up with was that maybe Gameloft took out the shops and some unpurchased ponies (for those who haven't bought Granny Smith, Pinkie's parents i.e. me among others) is so they could work on em some more. Too make sure there isn't any bugs or glitches and whatnot.

Which i'm hoping that is the case :/

I'm hoping that's the case too, because I need the Grape Stand for a quest. Yesterday I didn't have enough money to buy it, but now that I do, it's gone! Aaargh.

I was saving up bits for pinkie pies dad (forgot his name) since I have nothing else to spend bits on atm. I hope he comes back before I hit 600k. I have about 210 right now.

I was saving up bits to buy the zap apple stand... but since the Sweet Apple Acre shops are gone, I ended up switching areas and opening up the shop until I could buy Fleetfoot for bits instead.

Do the store prices change day to day? Just curious as a lot of the ponies seem to only be available with gem purchases or through the balloon game =/

No, the prices for most ponies don't change at all. The Royal Guard and Fleetfoot in Ponyville are an exception. There seems to be some sort of bug with them where sometimes if you open the store, they'll be available for bits, but other times they'll be listed as Balloon Pop only. So if you want to buy either of them for bits, just periodically open the store while you're playing and check if they've switched from balloon pop back over to bits.

All the sweet apple acre ponies seem to have vanished from my store as well. Now I really have nothing useful to spend my bits on. Oh well. :b

Did you try checking for stores and ponies while being connected to Internet and not? Somehow it changes for me when I'm using wifi or cutting the connection off.

I won the weekly challenge where the prize was gems. I only got 3 or 4 gems as a prize. I thought it would be a lot more than that.

The issues that needed to be fixed are still there :/ what a waste of an update in my opinion 

Aside from the horrible "update", i'm glad to have won Apple Bottoms from a daily event of collecting 40k bits ...those kinda events are by far the easiest way to win ponies

Gah!! I need to buy Apple Dumpling and she has vanished!!  Sweet Apple Acres has hardly anything in it! I hope this gets fixed soon as thats my only quest in SAA

I play through Google Play and I'm still missing ponies along with stores and trees. I also have a lot of bats. I closed the game in Sweet Apple Acres for a few minutes and when I came back I had a bunch of bats. I needed to get rid of ten bats but there are a lot more than that still there. I'm also stuck in Sweet Apple Acres until it's fixed because everything I need to buy for my current quest there is missing.

I still have the sale going on for the Android statue too.
