I'm not going to count my daughter's ponies because she likes them so much.

No exact numbers yet, just a guestimation from my tired mind.

G1 : around 140 including customs
G1 fakie mold : 15 including customs
G2 : 0 reg 5 McD's
G3 : around 200 with most still MIB plus about 30 McD's
G4 : 25 or so with customs and duplicates
BB : 65 with more on the way

So... probably creeping up on well over 500 ponies of all types in this house... ... maybe 550 or better with all 3 daughter's and my husband's ponies...

G1 - 76, g3 - 135 (this is very rough, they are scattered all over my daughter's floor), g3.5 - 9, g4 - 72 (again, scattered...) wowsa. That's a total of 242. Plus I have some on the way and hidden away for rewards

I've brought G3 Star Swirl into work to place on a female co-workers desk.
You see.... she keeps a couple of ponies there and they looked lonely....

The last pony I added was G4 Twilight Sparkle.
I wonder how many I can slowly add over time before she sends out a company-wide email asking who keeps putting ponies on her desk.

I'm pleasantly pleased that I have one of the smaller collections. 

I have 85 G1's and G2's in my collection, and some of those will probably be for sale before too long.  I have around 20-30 ponies in my sales bin, so I don't quite count those. 

If I were to surpass 150 ponies, I think I would shoot myself.( I probably had as much or more when I started culling my hard a couple years ago, and I've sold about 30-40 in the last few months as well, and it's really nice just having what I really adore, versus having to collect EVERYTHING )  I do have other collections, however, and that really sets how I collect, and I've gotten that way with everything.  Kimono, Japanese dolls, American dolls, etc.  It's no longer about collecting EVERYTHING. 

I have in addition to my ponies, 18 American composition and plastic dolls from between the 1930's and 1950's.  ( I have several vintage 1950's Madame Alexander Cissy dolls as well, the super expensive ones, but they reside with my mother for the time being )

I have around 25-30 Japanese dolls, all of which are pre-1950, and some that date back to the 1850's. 

Then there's my Kimono collection.  I just counted them, and I'm at 74.  That does not include obi.  Or any of the miscellaneous additions such as my socks, my under-kimono, my trimmings ( such as the obi ornaments, sashes, or even my collection of collars for my kimono.  )  This collection takes up two chests, one of which is a medium chest of 4ft tall, and nearly that wide, and then a massive chest ( which is only half devoted to kimono, the rest holds my dolls, my dance implements and tea ceremony utensils ) that is 8ft wide, and 7ft tall.  Then I have one drawer in my bedset ( I have a captain style bed with 10 large drawers ) filled with kimono too.  I am planning to sell at least 10% of my collection just to get them ALL in the kimono chests where they BELONG. 

So, while I have a small pony collection, my others are crazy.

Oooh fun! I might have to do an actual count soon, we counted my Ponies a few weeks ago and I had 250, but I have added some to my collection. The 250 were all generations but my G2 and G3's are packed in a box right now since I kinda only want to collect G1's, the G4's were too cute to put away.

I collect G1, G3 and G4 ponies.  Including plushies, but not blind bags, I have just over 350 ponies.  With Blind bags, its closer to 400 

My current display cabinet is close to full........I am eyeing up my fella's DVD/game cabinet now
