I have thought this through to the point I have the cabinet they are stored in near a door so if The house is going down and I can get to them, they are coming out too. Although I never want to test this out, im pretty sure the cabinet wont make the steps unbroken, I can always get another on of those  A fire worrys me dearly! I wish I could build a fire proof safe for all my ponys, but they could be seen through too.
