Symbol Question
« on: September 27, 2013, 06:04:04 PM »
I am working on my very first pony and had to repaint her symbol on her. Do I have to spray something on her symbol to set it?  I think is my only question that I have right now :)

Usually most of us seal our paintwork. If its just a symbol repaint then you can put some Mod Podge on it to seal it. I only use a spray sealant if I've done a full body repaint. :)

Ok thank you for letting me know. I just wanted to know cause I have some spray that I used on my Breyer horses when they were finished.

I'd be careful of some spray sealants that can be used on the harder plastic models/toys

Ok thank you for letting me know, that is why I wanted to come here and ask. I did not want to wreak a pony that I put lots of work in.

I use Testors Dullcote spray ( I think they recently changed the name to Testors Spray Lacquer) if I need to seal the entire body. It's matte finish so it doesn't leave you with a shiny look.
I know quite a few of us here that use it.
