Questions about Hair color?

I am deflocking a So Soft Twilight and she is going to need some new hair. What I am wondering is what color of hair is it that she has? I want to get one that is close to original. Any help would be awesome.

And were to buy the hair at would be cool to know to. I am going to give it a try. This is my first time at trying to re hair

And if there is anything else that I need to know please tell me. Do I need  special tool to get the mane done?

I don't know what color she has, but my rehairing tool is an exacto knife holder and a few sewing needles with the loop cut at a bit of an angle. I just make the hole a little bigger by putting a bigger size needle through it, pull it out, then push the hair/tool through when all the hair is in I put a bunch of glue in the head.

I took the hair out of her and cant get over how orange it is looking now. You can see some of the older pink in the parts that were inside the pony. Thank you I will go and check out that site.

Does anyone have good advice on how to re hair the head on a pony?

I do not use either of the methods in that tutorial. Mine involves dental floss and an old sewing needle!

I buy most of my hair from Dollyhair, as well.

the needle/floss method is the same as the needle/thread... which is another version of the wire method...

pretty much you are threading a needle with an untied loop of thread/floss, insert the needle through one of the holes in the pony's hairline (I always done that from outside in) leaving the untied tails of the thread/floss sticking out of the hairline while the loop sticking out of the neck ring, place your plug of hair into the loop (leaving the knot in the middle of the plug sticking out of one side of the loop, while the ends of the  hair are sticking out the other side of the loop), then pull it through the head...

I know there is a tutorial somewhere in the mess of tutorials on the needle/thread or needle/floss method which shows it better than I can explain it

Well I just ordered my first lot of hair

I cant wait to get started on her! I just have to get some white touch up paint and a tool to get her hair and glue
