I had loads of fun at DragonCon, but the MLP panel disappointed me a lot. It made it sound like there would be more of a discussion, and more than just the barest mention of G1. Instead, I felt like it was mostly PMVs--all of which I'd seen before.
I was honestly disappointed with the whole thing. My hubby and I go to AWA, Momo-con, Reptacon, Daytona Breeders Expo, Great Outdoors Show, Buckarama, Turkeyrama, ect but had never been to dragoncon. Since there's so much hype about it we assumed it would be the best one yet..... WRONG. It was awful. It was so expensive to get in (the most expensive one yet) and everything was overpriced, or stuff I would buy at Bigbadtoystore.com. :/ All the other conventions/xpos we go to there's always cool new stuff or rare old stuff, stuff you can't find just anywhere, and teh prices are always great, dragoncon, not so much....
IT was un organized, there was no telling where ANYTHING was, and we spent over 75% of out time walking around looking for where anything was. :/ Needless to say, we will not be returning next year.
