Oh my goodness I really didn't want to start collecting these but first Pinkie and now Celestia? Need glittery chasers, it would look so epic on Celestia!
(and I'm glad they're at TRU, it's a little more accessible for me. We don't have a lot of Hot Topic stores around here)

Oops I'm sorry!  A chaser is pretty much a variant.  Like the glittery Funko vinyls we have now.

From what I'm guessing, they probably surprise you with one.  That's just my guess...  I could be totally wrong.  I'm going to order one if they're not sold out today.  We shall see!  . How awesome would it be to get 6 ponies for $15??  Lol!

The listing is weird. If it is one of, it should say one of the following.  I am ordering to see what happens.

I ordered one set as well, I called to ask and she says it's all six ponies, I said they are usually $14.99 a piece and she said they may be mini versions or something, which I'm pretty positive don't exist and since we already have seen Spitfire and Bon Bon, I'm almost positive that's what these are! She searched they database for a photo, which she didn't find yet, she said she should be receiving one really soon, they usually get the photo up right away. I took the gamble and ordered one set, why not hey it would be sick if I got 6 ponies for $14.99!!

An "assortment" is a common way to sell a lot of items.

A store does not order 2 Sweetie, 2 Spitfire and 2 Celestia. They order 1 assortment and that assortment comes with the split out. Check out stores like bigbadtoystore to see how "assortments" are sold. MLP has been like this since it was first releases and so are most other similar toy lines. For the price you will get one of the items listed.

I will admit to thinking it odd if Celestia is going to be a larger, grander release I would not expect her to be part of an assortment and I would not expect her to be only $15.

That's what I was guessing, but the women said it is for all 6 ponies, since that's what is listed, she could be wrong of course. What I'm thinking is they don't have an image yet so they made a mistake in the listing because they don't know what the ponies are yet. I'm thinking that they told them standard price is $14.99 and they thought it was for all of them accidentally, which they will fix, and also they put Celestia at a lower price because they thought she would be the same size, but once they get more info it will change!

Side note: Who else is really enjoying the collecting experience for the Funko ponies, I think it's so much fun!

But the listing is no different from how other ponies are listed when they are in assortments so I am not sure why the customer advisor would be confused. The very word "assortment" is enough for a retailer to know that its a listing for a product which has multiple single options.

The listing said they were in stock at my local store and offered me free store pick-up; so, I placed an order and will report what happens.
