You Tube Pony Site Tributes?

I noticed when you go to You Tube and type in Twilight Sparkle, Spike, Fluttershy or Pinkie Pie the bar at the top changes colors close to what that pony's colors are.  It didn't work on Applejack and I forgot to check Rainbow Dash. With a little research apparently this is for the Brony's out there as its Geek Week or something. I wish pony collectors were not considered geeks. Oh well.

It seems to work for all the main characters, including applejack, princess luna, and princess celestia.. I haven't tried any others... It's a nice touch but why does it have to be for 'Bronies' o_O? Couldn't they just say fans as not all of us call ourselves Bronies :/

Edit: It also seems to work for Apple Bloom and Scootaloo >.>;
Edit 2: and for Cheerilee, Lyra, Octavia... and for Grey Bubbles (in both Ditzy and other name)... so yep it's more of a Fim Fan thing

I agree but that term is out there for good regardless of how all of us collectors refer to ourselves.

Unfortunately... but as I found it edits some of the background characters (except for the one Fim fans call Bon Bon) also invoke the color change in the search

I think they're using the term geek for anything that has broad fandom, aka Sherlock, MLP, etc.

Big macintosh also works as does Sweetie Belle but you have to look hard to see shade of grey change.

Yes this is very true, I just don't particularly care for society's need to constantly type people and stick them in groups with a name.  Its irritating to me.  Its my pony peeve.
