Big Pony Brag!!!!

I have been wanting to get a curio Cabinet for a very long time. But just did not want to spend $500 and up! I checked every year when I got my tax return and nothing ever showed up in the price that I wanted. 

The other day I was on facebook looking on one of the local rummage sale site. I was not really paying attention to what I was doing. I just happen to look down and see a curio Cabinet that someone had just listed. I saw the price and was not sure. She was asking $125.00 for it. I turned to a different page and went right back to the listing. I sent her a message to see if there was anything wrong with it and was she set on the price. She got back to me and said it was in mint condition and there was nothing wrong with it at all. And that she was not going to go any lower on the price.

I thought about it for a few minutes and sent her a message back. I wanted to know when I could see it. She said I could come over right now if I wanted. I showed my hunny it and he said get it! So I got her information and we headed into town to check it out. When we got there I could not believe how nice it was! I found out that it was her grandma's at one time and was handed down to her. I guess its pretty old. I checked out the place the made it on line. Nothing on there site was under $800.00! That is just crazy!!!!!!! So I jumped on it! I ran to the bank and took the money out and paid her. We could not bring it home that night, I had my car. My hunny the next day went and got it for me after work. We got it downstairs when I got home from class. I cleaned it up and he helped me move things around. So now I have a nice cabinet to put my ponies were they will not get all dusty!     

So here is the pictures of it and with the ponies all set up! I have so much more room now. My hunny said that I need to get more ponies to fill it up!   LOL

What do you think, I think I spent a good $125.00. I did not want to spend that kind of money but did not want to let it go.

That Curio Cabinet is AWESOME!!! I can't wait to have my own place so I can get one of my very own! Congrats! $125 WELL spent!

Nice find.  I think you did great.  I want a nice tall cabinet (at least one I can reach the top of) to put ponies in.  I still live at home at 29 and my room has slanted ceilings like most attics so there's not much room for tall shelves or anything past 3 ft. tall.  Luckily I don't have many ponies but I would like to some day be able to get a cabinet like that.
