I recommend Strawberry Reef.com for identification. It's thorough and means you can check yourself :)

mlpland.net also has an awesome pony ID option - it allows you to select the generation and type in the symbol and you will get a result as to who the pony is. Just in case you need ID help again in the future!

Ahhh...I understand. Often it does not even need you to be as specific as a type of plant - you can just type "flower" :P But I understand why it could be a pain.
