Well, looks like I'm not buying that.

This!!!

I didn't even want DJ, but she came in my Fair package. She's up for trade now BTW. I didn't care for this TS when she first popped up on Taobao. Now that I see her price I really don't want her.

I love her wings so much more than the normal FS wings, but all the glitter and crystals are just unbelievably tacky. I certainly wouldn't pay $50 for her or any others. I don't even want the SDCC pony this year.

Well at least they nearly got her wings the right colour!;)

Maybe one day they will realise her body is supposed to be lavendar too!

One step at a time Hasbro, one step at a time!

And hopefully they will fix everything else ( ie Hair Colour / Hair Style / Eye shape etc)  before the show slowly disappears off everyone's radar!

Why in the world would adults want an inaccurate colored character covered in glitter and crystals, how about a plain old no sparkles Big Mac, it's that easy hasbro, I'll even accept you being lazy and use a flippin shining armor pose, I'm really getting tired of the decisions, characters, and execution. Hire some new employees, now I can understand if this was a kids toy, but if you want to make an adult line, great thats amazing news, but atleast ask the people what the want for one, and for two atleast somewhat try to make the characters look accurate and not cheap as crap if youre going to charge $50!

Eh, no thanks. Not worth $50 to me. The talking/moving/glittery Princess Twi that's coming out in the fall is more worth the $50 imo.

To be honest it looks like Hasbro has been looking at the customs forum here because this looks more like a custom than an actual factory produced pony. And really if it was a custom I might have been all over it even at that price since a custom pony is a one of a kind work of art but this is just a mass produced pony and not worth the price tag IMHO.

I don't understand, why release this AND the moving/ talking/ lighting up Twilight toy? At the same price? I would love to have her but not for that price. Half that, MAYBE, but if it's a choice between yet another Fashion Style, and an altogether new toy that talks and does stuff, there's no way I could choose this one.

I am really bummed out and disappointed at Hasbro. How hard is it to take a poll to see what we'd actually want to buy? It's more blatant than ever how little they care about collectors and how much they care about bronies.

LunarEclipse no brony wants this either, I think the bronies want the same thing collectors do.. More show accurate characters, especially boys.

I honestly don't think a brony would want this :/ with the attitudes they display towards brushables and from what I observed, they hate any MLP toy that's not "show accurate" >_<
Oh no!

Geeze, no thanks.  She's very pretty and I know we told Hasbro that we want more ponies for collectors but I don't think this is what we meant.   Sorry but that's way too much to spend casually.  I'd rather have regular sized G4's that are special like that and less pricey.

Yeah...no...I dont get it.

I kind of see what Hasbro are trying to do - it is a similar idea to what they did in G3 with the art ponies by trying to grab an adult audience and sell HBTS exclusives. But if they want these to be desirable and jump off the shelves then give people something other than another release of the same character we have seen a million ways already.

Hmmm....I do wonder if she is the start of a line of "adult collectables" and I guess she will be like Vinyl and screwed in to her box.
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

Makes me sad, because she LOOKS like a clunky toy from Target and not an expensive collectible.  Sad because I don't want Hasbro to give up on the adult collectors if and when this one fails.  I second what was said above, I would buy cut out crystal ponies in a heartbeat and I've been saying that since the premier of the Crystal Empire episode.  I'd also love to see porcelain ponies again like they did with G1.  Or art ponies. Or SEA PONIES. Or G1 ponies in the G4 style... just something NEW instead of a pony that looks like one that's already been released 4 or 5 or 6 times already!!  I consider the Funko ponies to be awesome adult collectibles with a very fair price tag, I only wish there were more because I can't get enough of those!
