updated thread answers*Cute & Whimsical or Dark & Spooky? : honestly either way works for me, im kind of leaning toward spooky and darkish, but I had plenty of ideas listed on both sides of the fence, so I honestly don't mind either way. lol the fact that I find dark and spooky occasionally cute doesn't help =P
*color preference~ Dark Purple, Dark Blue, Dark Red, or Black?: lol im not much help on this one, a nice dark purple or a black would be cool, but I also love dark reds and burgundies as long as theyre not super rusty looking. and most blues are nice, so... um... interpret as you will =P
*Bases/External accessories? :bases are kinda nifty but not required at all, and I agree on the keeping it on the smaller side, cause I only have one shelf in the display case for customs atm, so I have limited space to work with. external accessories: I think they can add a lot of 'spice' to a character as long as theyre not gaudy and go with the theme/character. again, not required tho. =]
*how important is it to you to have accessories etc be removable?: not important even a little bit. if you want to sculpt it on there permanently that's fine with me, heck ive found that stuff sculpted on seems more fluid and proportional than trying to make it removable. half the time it comes out lumpy or clunky with catches and snaps etc. so I leave it to you partner. do what you think looks best!
*preference- a pony that is a character like a witch or pony ive mentioned liking, or a pony that's a scene?: either way is fine by me. if you have an interesting idea run with it. I think most of my ideas I listed were a 'pony as' types, but if you think of a cool scene that's fine =]
*styling size~ love it or hate it?: love =]
*boys: I love em. didn't bother putting them on my pose list but I like em. =] I love G1 boys =]
*Let's say, you have a choice between a G1 and a G3. Which would you choose? And what is your fav pose of that generation?:
ooo tough one! I wont ramble on about the G3 poses I listed (there were a lot) cause each pose has a different feel to it, so whichever one you think will work best for your idea partner! and G1 wise... id have to go Scoops, Gusty, any of the core babies (d'aaw!) and boys... but honestly whichever gen you want to work with is fine. my customs collection is about half and half so im not terribly picky.
*sculpt, paint, or both: that is a toughie. id have to agree with SoT, go with what your strong suit is. I love painted and sculpted, so yeah... do what you think will look coolest! =P
*sculpted or removable cloth outfits: I lean a bit toward sculpted.
*disturbing extras: any form of customs as extras are always welcome! I tend to usually make more than one depending on how crazy the primary one is. =P
*surreal/abstract/creepy: sure do what tickles you! =P
*hair blends- striped blends or every plug blended: I like both, and actually LOVE a mix of the two, where its super scattered then. *shrug* I like about all hair blends/stripes etc. as long as its not clashing combos.
*scents: I don't really mind scented ponies tho theyre kind of a novelty to me so I wouldn't want many. tho right now I have no scented customs so if you wanted to that's fine. typically I prefer cinnamon scents. =]
