Out of curiosity, how much were the prototypes?

Well, the prices were higher this time than last time- they used to be $115- but these were $135! Probably because of the popularity I guess.

I did get spitfire! who did you get? Someone on the funko boards got the color ones. I'm hoping to have a proto of each one day.

Question for the OP-   Are these your pictures or are they pics from the Gemini site?

These do look super nice! ...but really, Bon Bon before Twilight, Rarity or AJ? I will be getting Pinkie and possibly Lyra, but I'm more anxious for the rest of the main six.

It's funny though- usually when Hasbro re-does the mane six everyone complains-  but when they don't, everyone complains 

That said- I would have thought it would have made more sense to do one of the main ponies paired with one other character (like the prior releases and Pinkie and Lyra). 

But who knows- we haven't had any confirmation as to the order of the releases past Pinkie and Lyra - so maybe Twilight, Rarity and AJ will in fact be paired with Bon Bon, DJ, and Spitfire.

Well, let's be honest. Characters like Lyra, Octavia and Vinyl have become pretty overused too.
The only (kind of) unexpected character is Spitfire.

I'm so glad Popcultcha has started stocking these, though I won't be able to pre-order them until way after they're released in the US but at least they're cheaper than buying from ebay (not by much tho lol)... I just have to be patient!
Thanks for posting, I'm super excited to see what characters they have in store for us. Hopefully they will be released in a 'mane 6 + background character' with each wave pattern, so we can get Applejack, Rarity and Twilight before moving onto the rest. And we must get princesses and villains eventually!

I can't wait for Pinkie Pie! So far she's the only one I'll be getting, as she's my favorite character. But all of them look awesome!
