Did the EQ girls have tails?  I don't think they did but I could be wrong.  Also, I don't think RD would be caught dead in a skirt unless she had to.  I could be wrong on that.  Those girls look way to grown up to be high school girls.  If they are real, I wouldn't get them.

Thanks for sharing. :)

Oh yiiiikes. Why do the faces have to be so weird like that. Rarity what is wrong?!
Otherwise eh, they're dolls. I didn't expect much.

Seconded, they do look quite odd. I don't see much evidence of articulation, either, so if I did want a doll I'd rather stick to MH.

ETA: Also, looking at RD, the 'tails' appear to be coming from their heads. Really, really strange design choice.

If these end up being the real dolls, I'll likely end up getting Applejack or Rarity regardless (being a fan of them and all).
But I admit, I am not 100% keen on how they look. Something about their faces bug me, especially for Rarity.

Seconded, they do look quite odd. I don't see much evidence of articulation, either, so if I did want a doll I'd rather stick to MH.
Articulation definitely would have helped, especially if Hasbro really wants the EG dolls to compete with MH.  In a way, I feel kinda spoiled by Monster High and other articulated dolls, and articulation usually becomes a "semi-deal breaker" for me.
Thank you so much for the adoptable, Corona! :D

I'm weird.. I think they're cute! Though I don't collect dolls, and not very familiar with them.

i agree, that is very strange looking.

I'm hoping, that these are just fakies from other places that make fakies, using the same head mold for EQG, while putting on THEIR ugly fakie version face-ups, stuck the heads onto colored Bratz Kidz bodies, and NOT Hasbro dragging their feet with half assed products because these are fugly as F***!

It's been done before with other doll lines, stolen head molds, ugly faces added instead of the legit faces, then their heads jammed into a Bratz body.

Did the EQ girls have tails?  I don't think they did but I could be wrong.

They had extra long hair with a faux "pony" tail--- so it resembled a tail even though it was apart of the hair on their head. At least, they did in the one picture...

I'll probably be odd man out. I'm not even a doll person and I think they are cute. I hope the real release will each character have their own eyes. Or that these aren't the release at all, and it might be something others will like better. ):

I certainly hope they're fake. The lack of articulation is very disappointing.

I honestly think these are much more smaller scaled dolls, much like the Petite Blythes Hasbro made, so they would be closer in scale to the brushable ponies.

And here I thought we'd get some decent monster high knockoffs.

If they are priced the same as MLP singles, I can see why they look the way they do.

I think some of the official art (forget whether it was the first released image, or if they're still using it, or what) showed their hairdos having one section which was longer than the rest of the hair.  Like when you get a bad haircut and several strands have been missed, except  in this case, they're down to practically the characters' feet. This represents tails without the characters actually having them. Does that help?
No, wait, it's still weird.  >_<
I'll put something here some time

Gosh, those sure are.... generic. Everything about them is off-putting. Their faces look a little like they tried for half-human half-pony, (sorta 3.5ish?) the ears look way too tall for their width, the wings are... dinky. Their expressions look just blank. AJ looks like she's dying inside. (That hat... she looks so skimpy and fake)The same outfit for all of them, not in character for any of them... and gosh, are we back to the face cutie marks and rattails from the early pictures?

I'm just... disappointed here. I sure hope these aren't what we'll see in stores.

I hope these are fake just so there's a posibility for better dolls, but even if these are real, I like them. Kinda hard to tell how the real thing will look from promo pics like these though. :/
When the Equestria Girls dolls show up in stores and you end up with unneeded doubles, PM me! I'll buy them!/i]
