Who would you keep and why?

So, this surely have been asked many times before - but I am in the process of cleaning up and reducing my pony collection and was wondering about the following: if you only where to keep 10 ponies - who would it be and more importantly WHY would you choose to keep those over any others?

Here is mine:

1) NBBE Baby Ribbon - because I wanted her ever since I first saw her as a kid and it was a little bit of a dream come true when I was able to finally get her (even though I was all grown-up at the time...)

2,3,4) Baby Glory, Baby Blossom, Baby Firefly because they are all childhood ponies of mine and I loved them so much as a kid and they are so much played with it makes me smile every time I look at them

5) Bowtie - my very first pony. Ever. Need I say more?

6) Majesty - because Dream Castle was a present from my grandfather and he died shortly after. It was the best present I ever got as a kid!

7) Glory - because she is the perfect unicorn! And she was a present from my sister.

8) Macau Jenny - because I would need to keep a Nirvana and Jenny is the most awesome pony ever made!

9) Firefly - because of the pose. She looks like she is about to take off, and that makes her the most happy-looking pegasus

10) Barnacle - because he is too awesome to give up, and all my girls would need a boy pony. And also - he is a pirate;)

1. Sweet Pocket. She is my favorite pony and my pride and joy of my collection. She's been my favorite since childhood

2. Vanilla Treats. Also a childhood pony and my favorite of the cookery ones. I have all the others, but I think she is the one I would keep without doubt.

3. Princess Sparkle (Gloria). I've always wanted to have her since I was a child and now that I have her, I wouldn't want to part with her.

4. Hair-do Bangles. Same as read above. Love her to bits !

5. G2 Princess Silver Swirl and Baby Swirly. Also a childhood set that I adore. I will never want to part with these.

6. My very first pony, Jazzie. I have a lot of wonderful memories attached to this pony, so she would definitely stay with me, always.

7. Buggy with NBBE Baby Cuddles. Childhood fav and a cutie !

8. G3 Royal Rose. Very first G3 I ever had and one I hold dear. She is also very beautiful to me.

9. G2 Parlor with Ivy. You guessed it... childhood fav ! Love her long hair !

10. My two DG fakies, named Strawberry and Banana ! I simply adore these babies ever since I remember. They would always go on adventures with my G1s and always be adopted by someone xD

This was easier than I thought... xD

1.  Minty, who was my childhood favourite.
2.  So Soft Fifi who was my favourite unicorn.
3.  TAF Yum-Yum who was my favourite pegasus.
4.  Honeysuckle who was my favourite flutter pony.
5.  Baby Half Note who was my favourite baby pony.
6.  Baby Frosting who was my favourite baby unicorn.
7.  Baby Surprise who was my favourite baby pegasus.
8.  4-Speed who was my favourite big brother.
9. and 10.  Milkweed and Tumbleweed who were my favourite twins.

...dammit, I wanted to put some of the great UK ponies I got as an adult, or some of the G1s I wanted as a kid but never got until I was a grownup, but....yeah, my childhood "Greatest hits list" takes all 10 spots.

Ok let me think;

1) Bright Eyes - she was my first true grail.
2) Mimic - she is gorgeous and she cost me a lot of money
3) Gusty - my all time fave pony from the movies
4) Baby Moondancer - because I love her
5) Italy Peachy - my first Nirvana-ish pony
6) Princess Primrose/Ruby - because I doubt I'll ever be able to find another one that stands upon its own
7) Medley- she's my fave pegasus pony (until I get SS Bouncy)
8) Sugarberry - because she's gorgeous
9) Starflower - again...she's gorgeous
10) CP Lemon Drop - because she was one of the first ponies I had as a child

that list may change over time as I add more to my collection (except the top 3 so because they will never leave me).

What a fun idea..out of my collection these are the ones I would keep if i could only keep ten. They are as follows: rosette, lil'tot, hollywood, princesd starburst, te bright eyes, pp lavender lace, star glow, baby crumpet, star hopper, baby starbow. There is no specific reason except these are some of my all time favourites. It was really difficult to choose only ten. Next week it would probably change

My original 8 ponies from my childhood (Bubbles, Glory, Moonstone, Galaxy, Milky Way, SS North Star, SS Twist, Skyrocket (sparkle).
Obviously because they're the ones that got me started.

9: Maverick (Big bro. custom) My first custom.

10: Nightmare Moon (from G4 fav's set) IMO this is the best pony (next to SDCC The Filter Is There For A Reason Pony) of the G4 line. The first ever villain pony.

3). Ice Crystal - grail pony.  I wanted him forever so I'm never parting with him.
4). MO Mommy pony - gift from my mom (she found her at the thrift store)
5). G3 Merriweather - gift from my best friend and started me on collecting. 
6). G4 Feathermay - gift from my best friend
7). G3 Tulip Twinkle - gift from my mom
8). Tux - my college graduation gift to myself
9). And 10.) Zjabber and Jebber - my first newborn twins and Windwhistler's babies.  I couldn't part with them.

I picked the ones that I just knew I couldn't simply replace for sentimental reasons.

3) Purple Baby Ember  -I carried her and Blue Ember everywhere.

8) Posey    - I love this pony so much.  Always wanted her.
9) CP Applejack  -It was just neat to discover her on ebay.  I had to have her.
10) Bubbles -my sister's pony.  She'd be upset if I left her behind.  <3

But... I don't know how I could leave Squirmy, Baby Moondancer, Fizzy and all the others behind.

This is easy, because I would never let go of my childhood ponies. And I had 10 childhood ponies.

1. Baby Sapphire. I know my parents picked her because my favorite colour is blue and I love everything shiny.

i have actually had this thought several times and here are the ones i would keep mostly because they ar extremely rare and i doubt i would ever be able to re-purchase them again... especially in good condition

1 & 2. Gusty and moondancer, both where childhood favs
3. yellow moondancer, I got him as an adult but love him as much as my childhood ponies
4. baby sapphire, love her colours and pose
5. daddy sunbright, he was a big grail of mine I think he is the most perfect pony ever made i love the colours and theme
6. fireball, ughh I sold him once and realized it was the biggest mistake ever it took me ages to get him back

Applejack, Bowtie, Masquerade, Moonstone and Baby Tiddlywinks because although those I own are not my child hood ponies, they were ponies I had as children which were very special to me.

Cotton Candy - because she was the pony which set me on the road to collecting.

Baby Fifi and Baby Quackers - because they are clearly the cutest ponies

And then Twisty Tail and Princess Taffeta - because I just really like them

Wow... this question tears at my heart... but, I'm gonna try to answer it!

1) Sea Pony Wave Jumper - instantly fell in love with her blue color...

2) Milky Way - She reminds me of my grandmother... I could never get rid of her

3) NSS Brazil Paradise - I wanted her for SO LONG and I couldn't give her up after finally getting her...

4) Sparkle pony Twinkler - same reason as #2, reminds me of my grandmother... I'd keep the MO version just because she has the added sparkles on her cheek...

5) Mountain Boy Lightning - he's gorgeous! Bright colors, would be a find stand-in to represent boys for me.

6) Splish - A gift from a very nice friend, and represents my love of fish, so I'd keep her for sure

7) Baby Sapphire - I LOVE her unique pose (I know a few others are in that pose...) but her blue! So pretty!

8) Alternate Birthflower Daisy - just got her... and I LOVE her. April is my birth-month, so I'd keep her as my birthflower representative

9) Mommy Pony - I love the kitty (because I love my kitties), her dark colors... and pink hair!

10) Cutesaurus - Okay, silly but, I just love dinosaurs. And what's better than an MLP Dinosaur?

Wow that was super tough, lol... I'd probably change my answers again... 9 and 10 were toughest!

Questions like these are always so difficult to answer, I am going to try though...

1. Big Brother 4-Speed. I have four but would choose my childhood one. He is awesome and is a trucker.
2. Mountain Boy Fireball. He's gorgeous and was my first of the set.
3. Tux n' Tails. Childhood pony and his hair is awesome.
4. Daddy Apple Delight. My re-haired one. I was not too fond of Daddy AD until I changed one up a bit.
5. Daddy Sweet Celebrations. One of my No Country ones, their eyes get me.
6. Colombian Daddy Apple Delight. He is gorgeous and squishy!
7. Mountain Boy Lightning. He is so awesomely orange!
Should probably pick some ladies...
8. Dutch Diary. I wanted her for a very long time, now that I have her...I cannot stop looking at her.
9. Baby Billie. She is in my favorite pose, has a bunny symbol and is totally adorable.
10. MO Sparkle Star Hopper. One of my childhood ponies, I love her pose.
