Rare ponies I sent have not arrived (yet??)

Hello everyone,

I'd like to get some advice on how to deal with this situation. I recently sold some of my rarer ponies to three people in total. The packages were all sent on the 20th of March and two of them have arrived (to Germany and Austria) but one, to the UK, has not arrived (yet?). I sent the packages quite some time after payment (the buyers knew that), and I didn't realise something might go wrong and the buyers can only wait a certain time for the package to arrive because if the package doesn't arrive they want to be able to get their money back. So, for the person whose package has not arrived yet (the most expensive package of the three) their PayPail waiting time is almost over. She has said she will wait till the last day to give them a chance to arrive, but if they haven't arrived by them PayPayl will just take the money from my bank acount, right? While I have absolutely sent them and sold them because I'm really in need of money... So what should we do? How are these kind of issues normally dealt with?

I am sorry you are having issues. Is there a chance because of the value that it could possibly be held up in customs?

If she opens a case you will have 7 days but no longer than 20 to respond. So you will have some extra time to wait for it to arrive in all actuality once the case is open. Once the 20 days have passed if she has not already escalated it, Paypal will automatically close it though and her money will be refunded from your account.

How was your package sent? Is there tracking? Also do you still have your shipping receipt by chance?  And if you do can you contact your PO and inquire about it?

As Pony Lady said, how long ago did you send the UK package?
If the full amount was declared to customs it is likely it will undergo a further security check and a customs charge will be issued (anything with declared value over £50, even if marked gift) and that will extend the processing time. Also the fact that we've just had two bank holidays side by side (Good Friday and BH Monday) meaning no post or customs working will slow it down too. My expensive ponies took roughly the same time to clear customs, but one was over the New Year period. It was sent on the 27th December but didn't clear customs until after the 12th Jan so it can be some time. If it was less than 3 weeks since shipping with declared value I wouldn't be worried yet. Also do keep in mind some packages can, for whatever reason, take much longer!

Sorry edit to add I just saw they were sent the 20th march. I really wouldn't worry yet, especially with those two national holiday days, most people have just had a 4 day weekend!

Thats great! I'm really happy they arrived safely     there have been some delays with UK post since the bad weather and also the easter holidays
