My First tutorial! How to Re-Tail a BnG Pony

hmm... I could see how that would be a problem. If you could find the tabs it might be repairable.. but I think replacing the cap would be the quickest solution if you can find someone with a spare mechanism

Probably so, I haven't touched the BnG since I really removed the mechanism... and the pink stripe in her main kind of.... faded after I forgot she was in my window for a while

It's a BnG Ringlets that I bought to try and restore. I might just end up customizing her due to the 'rod shape' cancer she has on her. I'd still like to try and wore on her though despite that x:

next i thought the tutorial was great. very straight forward. kinda wish i had a BnG to take apart. though i'd need to see a tutorial about how to do that. i would like to see the pony in action once she's been reassembled. think that would be cool.

Would you have any quick tips on taking one apart? I just got me a broken princess, and I'd love to try what disassembling and reassembling would do on her fuction, but I'm dead afraid I might end up breaking her beyond repair if I just go and try something on my own.

yes tips on disassembly would be awesome. id love to know if theres a faster/easier way to do it than how ive been doing it... with an Xacto, steady hands, and patience. =P

Dealing with a swollen foot right noe, but maybe I can throw up a join me link so you guys can watch me take one apart live at some point. I know I have some pics though too, so we'll see what I'm up for tonight
