Is Sweet Pocket notorious for fading

So I was thinking about getting Sweet Pocket soon from someone and I went to look on My Little Wiki to see if there were other picks of the charm thing that goes into her pocket and noticed the photo there the pony has a white head and a purple body.

So now I'm wondering if Sweet Pocket is notorious for fading from purple to white?

That IS kinda funky that they'd choose that pony to represent what Sweet pocket is supposed to look like. I don't have a clue as to whether she's prone to fading, but she sure is pretty!

I thought it was odd too... but another thing I noticed was that the pocket wasn't pink either o-O

That Sweet Pocket pictured is just a little discoloured; I would guess she has spent a lot of time in the sun which has discoloured her head, faded her hair and yellowed her symbol.

Her body/head is not particularly prone to discolouring so hopefully you will find a nice one.

Ah Well the one I'm at least looking at getting still has a purple head that the seller states is only a little discolored

I've never heard that she is, but mine does have a major head-body mismatch (one's still purple, one's purply-beige) but she still has very pink hair, so it wasn't sun that did it.

I saw two Sweet Pockets for sale this weekend...one was a nice shade of purple and the other was very faded and blotchy.

Do you know the more I think about it...the problem could be her colour perhaps? That blue/purple shade in other ponies [Windy/Seashell/Bluebell, etc] tends to have a pigmentation problem with the dye in the plastic which tends to leach over time. Perhaps thats something which is becoming more prevalent with her in time?

My childhood one is very evenly pale, with white hair and a very pink pocket. My new one has a massive mismatch, and very pink hair. She varies sooo much!
