Immediately. If I don't have the funds just then, then I don't get to buy anything.

Sooooo... what all do you consider "reasonable" and "professional" as far as a timely payment?

For the most part within 24 hours, BUT if the auction states within X amount of days-- then quite honestly, I believe it's fair to make a payment within that amount of time stated by the seller.

I selected "other" just because I pay straight away. Literally as soon as the auction ends. The only exception to this being if I'm getting a couple of things and thus need a new invoice. But once the invoice comes through I'm bang in there paying.

If they are items that finish a day or more apart I message the seller to inform them I'm trying to get another item and so will be waiting on payment.

The longest I have ever waited may have been around 4-5 hours if it was a daytime finish and I was at work. But most things seem to finish in the evenings for me.

I just feel it's polite to pay as soon as, and I would expect items to be shipped out as soon as possible (for the seller - I don't expect miracles ) after that ^_^

It depends. Usually I pay right away or as soon as I found out I won but sometimes I win and have to wait 2-3 days before I get paid. I pay as soon as I get the money in my account - usually at like 2 AM. In this cause, I aviod autions that say pay within 24 hours.

Pretty much as soon as I can. I only tend to buy stuff when I really know I have the money and I don't tend to bid on stuff.

Yeah me too, especially with ebay. On here I tend to ask for things to be held if I can produce the funds within a week. If not I just don't and hope it's there when I do have money.

I normally pay immediately at the close of the auction, unless the auction ends when I'm asleep.

I pay on the day the auction ended.  I just feel uncomfortable making the seller wonder.

within a couple hours, unless I'm at work or have messaged the seller about paying a day or two later(waiting for payday) if it's something I'd be kicking myself for missing!

Usually within 24 hours. If the seller has stated a more generous timeline in an auction description and I'm being busy, I can stretch it a little, but no longer than three days (that of course given I keep the payment deadline).

If it's a BIN I pay it right away or within a couple of hours.

I'm an another immediate payer. As soon as I know the total, I pay.

This, unless I've arranged with the seller to delay payment.

I request an invoice if there's multiple items, but I pay immediately.  If I don't have the money for it then I have no business looking.

I pay ASAP so unless I need a special invoice or request, I pay immediately after receiving an invoice. I don't buy things unless I have the funds for it then and there.

On eBay - immediately after the auction ends or I hit the bin option. I would never buy something unless I can afford it at that moment.

For the arena - I've always paid immediately as well. There have been a few expensive items I've asked the sellers if I could make payments on but that's been rare and only for items $150+

It's poor relations to wait for the maximum amount of time to pass before paying. Especially on eBay. If I have to wait out the 2 weeks for eBay to auto file the non paying bidder claim that's 2 full auction durations my items could have been sold.

I pay as soon as I'm giving the quote, ebay-wise.
