If I'm bidding on something, I always make sure I have enough in my Paypal to make an instant payment right after I win (assuming I don't need an invoice, in that scenario I pay as soon as I get the email). I figure it's only fair to treat other sellers as I'd want to be treated, plus it gives me peace of mind to pay off the debt immediately. When selling I do usually give buyers 5 days to pay, but I definitely appreciate payment within 24 hours so I can get everything shipped and done.

I usually pay within 24 hours. If it's a BIN, I pay right away. But I'm not always at the computer when I win an auction, so I have to wait until I am home or awake or have an invoice. I'm usually really excited for my pony or ponies to come, so I want to pay for them right away because the sooner I pay, the sooner they can be shipped!

I always pay as soon as I know the total. Sometimes I've asked nicely if it was okay to pay within a couple days if I knew my salary was about to be paid, but those times I would have had the money to pay immediately if the sellers had wished so. If I don't have the money, I don't bid, and if I have the money there's no reason to hold it. The sooner I pay the sooner I'll get my ponies sent to me!  :P

I chose 24-48 hours.  Although I did forget about something I bid on before I went on vacation once  and it was almost a week before I paid. I felt like a heel.

I'm pretty fast on the payment, usually it's right after auction ends, sometimes I wait for an invoice but usually I don't bother.

On ebay, usually within 24 hours after winning, I am not always there when I win some auctions.  BIN's are usually immediately paid.  Whilst I will on occasion ask for a pony/ponies to be held for a couple of days until I get paid, I will pay as soon as I am able to, usually within a few hours and always before 24 hours.

I pay immediately or soon as possible if auction ends when I'm not around.
I did embarrassingly once forget about an auction I won and it wasn't until several days later when i got an email reminder that I paid. I felt pretty terrible about it
felt like I almost became one of those dreaded NPBs

Immediately. As soon as the auction is over. Always. By phone or laptop, either way, I make sure I pay.

If it's a BIN with shipping costs already explained, immediately.  Otherwise, for auctions, always the next time I log on after it's over, usually no more than 24 hours.

If it's a BIN, I normally pay immediately after committing to the purchase. If it's multiple items from the same seller, I'll wait for an invoice for a combined total and then try to pay within a 12 hour span. If I win an auction at night and I'm exhausted, sometimes I'll leave it till the morning or after work, but I try to get everything taken care of as soon as possible. I also never buy anything that I don't have the money to pay for in my account outright.

As a seller, I'm a bit more lenient and expect payment within 72 hours. I may wait on a payment longer if the buyer is trustworthy and keeps in contact with me, but I hate being strung along

I feel when you do a buy it now you should pay right away. But if you cant please send a message to the seller. I have had this happen many times and they waited to send payment. I feel you shoudl pay right away. Alot of bidders seem to be paying like two to three days after it ends.

Another one here who pays right away, invoices notwithstanding. Besides the fact that I'd probably forget if I left it alone, I don't like to buy things unless I have the money right then, and feel it's irresponsible to shop unless you are capable of paying immediately.
I'll put something here some time

I always pay immediately. It makes the seller happy and I get to know that item will be going to me and not a rival bidder, LOL
