Ponies in New HASBRO TRADE CATALOGUE!

I am hoping for good news from the toy fair. If it's the same kind of disappointment, I am officially done with the G4 line.

I can't imagine we will see anything different from NY toy fair, Nuremberg is actually bigger as toy fairs go... And I was also at London you fair I wasn't allowed on the HASBRO stand as it is all closed off, but there was a small window I could peer through, and there was nothing new that stood out in the pony section that I could see other than 1 or 2 licensed products.

I'm so sad at this, I can't believe what a horrendous mess Hasbro are making of this line. They are investing huge amounts in the most successful version of a MLP TV show ever and they are just throwing money down the drain with their absolutely lousy Toy development!

I am getting to the point that if something positive and some variety is brought back into the line soon, I am gonna walk away from a brand that I have loved for 30 years !:(

The only thing we can wish for now is some decent account exclusives!!! These may not be presented at toy fair as they are not available for all retailers to buy into.

Hopefully Toys r Us will have seen great results with both the collector set with Nightmare Moon and Zecora and will have demanded something similar this year! To be honest they are pretty much our only hope now!

To be honest, that Rarity RC car has been a long time coming (an early version appeared in last year's toy show iirc, but a Twilight Sparkle RC car got released instead. It's been in my wishlist for a long time!). As for the remaining ponies, most of them already appeared in the family room article regarding the princess coronation, so no big surprise. Only thing new to me is the newborn (so soft?) pony.

I plan to buy *one* version of Princess Twilight - just one Hasbro, so pay attention! - and then I'm probably done for a good long while.  So sad.  Why is Hasbro being so boring right now?  Don't they realize this is what killed off the g3 line?

So I wonder what was up with the clear brushables?  Do you think Hasbro made a small run of these and decided the clear plastic was too expensive so released the crystal empire brushables with normal plastic bodies and tinsel/hexagon glint eyes?  If that's the case, I have to say that is a pretty big cop out.  I do hope we end up seeing more characters but if we have to get re-hashes of the main six I'd hope they would at least be distinguishable in more ways than just tinsel hair.

hum I'm not sure that's the case if that's so G4 would have the shortest run ever even shorter than G2! They may jusr go in a different direction with the line we can only HOPE anyway time will tell

This actually makes me a little apprehensive...

Is it a big change for G4 or is it a big change for MLP as a whole?   I sincerely hope that they do not stop making "brush able" ponies.
