You win, Blind Bag Ponies. Now I need emotional support!

I don't like to collect things when I can't actually display them, even if I'm the only one who ever sees them. (And my hubby, but he won't notice if the BB's aren't on display.) And then, while trying to find a cheap hot wheels display on ebay, I realized I own a sewing machine, and maybe, just maybe.....

Yup. It works perfectly. It was a shoe holder, but do anyone's shoes actually fit in those things? But with a little sewing and cutting, it's a BB holder. I can keep them in order, see who I have doubles of, who is missing...
But now I need them all. Dangit. I love buying them from Hasbro, all neatly boxed so I can be sure I get each one, but they're finally on wave 2 now. I hate being patient!

Has anyone else been sucked in by their tiny cuteness? How do you cope? How do you shop? How do you afford them! And how do you display them?

I have. I got three display cases up now mounted on my wall (two small and one big one in between)

...I saved up my Swagbucks so I could get them for free. Big one costed 189 dollars and the small ones costed 80 dollars.

I have a few of them but , no I am not collecting them, I have my big ponies that I collect.

I use a wall mounted clear acrylic nail polish rack to display most of my blind bags. I use a wooden shadow box I painted white to display my glittery wave 4s. Since I only have a limited amount of space in the rack and don't have room for another (plus I don't want to pay another $40 anyway) it forces me to only really keep my favorites from each wave.

Wow great idea!  And yes, that does look too small for shoes... But perfect for ponies!

I collect the BBs I really like, (just got Cherry Fizzy!) but yeah, I need a place to display them... I like those little cabinets!!! ^^^ but wondered if some store might have a cheaper version of a knickknack display shelf....  So far no luck at hobby lobby or michaels.

I still want Tea Love and Cherry Spices, but I think I have everything else I wanted for the bb... unless they start making tiny play sets.

However, my little niece has gone crazy for them.     What have I done?

Marona, those are lovely! I would adore being able to put mine like that, but I need all the space I can get for the full-size ponies, which is why I was avoiding these as long as I could. I've hung this display on the stairs leading to the upstairs, which is basically mine. My husband doesn't like that the ceilings aren't as tall as downstairs, so the world belongs to stumpy little me and my ponies!

Just got me some on ebay of wave 7  finally, This is the only wave that has appealed to me so far
bought a set of 10 on one of the auctions , trying to be patient for them to come up on hasbro site but caved in and won a ebay auction finally LOL
I do not want to pay more than 2.5 dllrs for them !
I saw them at hot topic but they are 5.5 there !!!!
not even with a 50 % they come to my price range from there

Oh Wow Aurora, that is such a good idea!  It looks like you could almost display them with their cards slipped in behind them.

I don't have a special area for blind bag figures in my pony room right now.  I have wall mounted shelves that are 8 - 12 inches deep and so I line the bbs up in front of the G4 brushables I have.  I like to be able to display the bb version of ponies with their brushable counterparts so this works out pretty well.  Eventually though I want to get a thimble shelf or something to display all the blind bag figures on.

That is an awesome idea and I think it turned out great!  You can get everthing displayed and not take up much space!
