I don't understand how some people think that is the proper way to conduct a business.  The seller is acting very childish and just plain rude. She's not trying to work with you she has her mind set so there no changing it. You did all you could and you even went beyond that, but enough is enough.

Good luck with your claim!! I hope it works out in your favor.

OMG That is so ridiculous! As a seller, she should have insured it was shipped properly with proper tracking number. You should definitely open a claim. Let us know how it works out!

Make sure to refund her that half payment because she might try to come back at you once you file a claim and say you agreed and she paid you half. You can refuse the payment with paypal.

Good Luck!

what the heck!?   file a claim now and refuse that refund.  save and send all your conversations with her to paypal.   as a seller i would never EVER treat a customer that way, let alone a loyal repeat one.

Seller is responsible to make sure the item gets to you. Her problem if she doesn't purchase insurance. She needs to file a claim at the PO to open an investigation on the package. Open a claim for the rest of your money.

I agree with the others - refuse the partial refund, open a claim and when it's all done with, I'd seriously be considering leaving a negative for poor attitude, or at best a neutral.

Thanks for sharing Ebay I ID. I recently was interested in one of her ponies but something seemed suspicious about it.  She currently has an Argie Lofty for sale that I was interested in, but when I searched for completed/sold auctions for her to determine what the going price was, I noticed she used the exact same picture for another Argie Lofty she sold on Nov.29th for $175.  So, I'm not sure if the buyer fell through or she is just re-using pictures, but that made me suspicious enough to not bid.

Edit:  I also went back to check if feedback had been left for the first Argie Lofty she sold and there wasn't any left for her on that particular item NOR was there any kind of negative left for a NPB.

Ohhhh, *that* Ebay seller.  :(  ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH.

I am sorry to hear that I have to add her ID to additional categories! Sadly, she is in nearly all of them, despite being such a popular seller on Ebay.  :(

oh dear :(  now we know who the seller is , unfortunately the issues you've had with her do not surprise me :yikes:  I would send her that refund back and open that case right away. Dont deal with her directly, let ebay sort the situation out.  Plus she sells a lot of ponies so of course she can afford to refund you the whole price!
