I really really hope that these actually see the light of day on the toy shelves, I'm really excited about them! Even though it's still the same old Mane 6, I want them

I'm really curious as to why Hasbro decided not to release them. They would have tied in perfectly with the Crystal Empire because of how they look. Also, a lot of us that don't want multiples of the main six, would have likely made an exception for them. I can't say the same for the ones that only have tinsel added to their hair, or additional design on their legs.

Agh, I'd really like these to come out! Especially with how often the mane 6 are rereleased, I'd actually be okay with getting them again if they were noticeably different from the other releases.

Maybe it will be the next ToysRUs Exclusive?  Maybe with Queen Chrysalis even! Like Mane 6 Crystal Ponies and Queen Chrysalis! Crystal, Chrysalis..it kinda works?

Or maybe I'm wishing too hard for a Queen Chrysalis?

Who knows, the year is still very young! We have the rest of the year for new things to come out

Probably, I know that last year people were asking questions about getting brushable boys, and they just kept saying "look to the blind bags, look to the blind bags." Wouldn't surprise me.

I think this is part of it for definite. HB have pretty much answered everything collectors have asked for through the blind bags - varied characters, boys, different finishes.

I would guess, the reason they never went ahead was manufacture price probably - that tends to be why many items like this are knocked back or dont make it off a designers desk.

I'm personally happy that they finally released ploomette as a Playful Pony (sad she may be a euro-exclusive, but still happy she is official)... I can't wait to see what new ponies are going to be in-stores for this year
