Scalper or crazy holiday season shopping?!

Hard to tell. There were....maybe 50 dolls on the shelf at TRU on Friday, all Picture day and Scaris Clawdeen plus SS Ghoulia and I went in early yesterday morning and ALL of them were gone except one SS Abbey which I hadn't even seen...and three GAlive Clawdeens. So they did a little stocking, sold out and sold out.

The funny thing was about 70% of their dolls were PD Draculaura...... 

At 26.99 and all the Cleos with misprinted eyes....@_@

Also! I got a coupon from frys marketplace saying Ghouls Alive were 21$ so I took that in and grabbed one of the three Clawdeens that were left on the shelf... instead of paying that nasty 28$.

I think in my case, it may be scalpers and not just Christmas because it was still summer when I started collecting and the MH dolls were wiped out just as fast. I don't think people started their Christmas shopping that early, but I suppose it's possible, especially with so many stores offering layaway now.

Well I sure do hope they have tons of Demew, she's too cute to NOT have lots of stock.

Although Jinafire seems to be getting the thin stick of shipment case assortments.  And some scalpers grab carts full of one/two things.

Nothing today in Walmart, but I've a got the feeling she'll come in later rather than sooner...

Catrine hasn't been released just yet, but she is set to be an exclusive to Walmart. No word on an exact time to start looking for her, it could be any time from now to early next year.

Does this mean she won't have an international release?

Not necessarily. She's just Walmart exclusive in the US. She could be exclusive to another store in other countries. It's just that no other stores in the US will have her.

She should be a Walmart exclusive in Canada too, we've gotten all the others. Although now I've probably jinxed it...

This is the only new doll coming out I want!  Since I am impaitent, I will probably pay more to get it on ebay.  I hate having to drive to every walmart to find it.

Same here! She looks so pretty!!

And I don't mind picking up extras for folks so they can avoid eBay prices, if they happen to be numerous at my Walmart I'm just hoping they actually get them. Their section is soooo tiny! I'll probably have to drive to different stores
